If you’re in a Madera bowling league then you probably love the Valley Bowl in Madera. If you’re just a family looking to bowl every now and then, the Valley Bowl isn’t the place for you. If you’re a handicap bowler in a wheelchair, well the barriers at this place tell me Valley Bowl wants you to take your business to Fresno. We have tried to bowl there several times only to find it’s league night or day and there are no lanes available or they are closed because one of the local schools is using the place. And the lady running the front counter is about as enjoyable as a rock in a tight boot. I wonder who did her wrong in her past to make her so disagreeable? I find it curious that the school district’s would continue to contract with this place considering how out of compliance with the Federal ADA(American’s with Disabilities Act of 1992) they are. From their handicap parking in the front with an asphalt ramp that looks very dangerous to anyone in a wheelchair, to their counters in the restaurant and pro-shop, to the several other barriers that would keep a handicap person from freely moving through the building. I can only imagine how out of date their restrooms are. Not one more Madera Unified child should be forced to utilize this place until the owner has made the necessary improvements to access. But then again Madera Unified has not made any improvements to their Madera High School facility when it comes to ADA either so maybe they just don’t care. With all of the improvements to ADA ramps and parking going on through-out the city of Madera it is obvious that there is an attorney forcing this construction that our city and county governments refuse to act on. I applaud whom ever is finally getting owners of commercial and retail businesses in Madera to final make their establishments accessible. The law has only existed for 23 years. It’s time for places like Valley Bowl to follow it. If you are a part of a league at Valley Bowl, encourage them to do the right thing. If Valley Bowl doesn’t want to comply, then they can face legal actions that might even results in their going out of business. It’s time to tear down the barriers in our city and Valley Bowl is a great place to start. Your wheel-chaired friends need your help.

Looking for something to do on a Saturday night and decided to take the family bowling. We walked in and were instantly greeted with a smile and lots of answers to our questions. They had lots of packages to choose from with the option to add more time or more games if you decided you weren’t ready to leave. We took our children ages 6 – 16, we were worried that our 6 year old wouldn’t be able to play due to the weight of the balls. They gave us a ball for little hands and they also had a little helper that you put the ball on, aim and then push it so she was able to able to play with out having an adult help, she loved that. The atmosphere was really friendly, the staff was very interactive the whole time we were there. The music playing in the background was family friendly but fun. Of course as a mom I scanned the place for cleanliness and safety and this place passed. The shoes were in really good condition as was the place itself. Oh and they do Birthday parties, pretty awesome, how fun would that be? We will be going back soon.

The best bowling alley I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot. The lanes are absolutely prepped and oiled perfectly at all times. The food is good the people there are very friendly. Especially the staff. The friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered in a bowling alley or any other establishment at that. I have now made this my home bowling alley even though it’s not that big it’s just as good and if not better than a bigger AMF etc. type establishment. I love it here. I would recommend this bowling alley to anybody.

No better choice for a fun Saturday night in Madera. The staff is great. That bald dude can cook, one of the best burgers I have eaten. You really can’t beat the price. The kids have a blast every time we go.

Great little bowling alley. Everyone’s nice and it’s well kept. The prices are great and I hope to join a league there. I heard their French fries are good.

Staff are friendly and bowled some of my best games here, and this place has been remodeled 2 years ago with brand new pinsetters, scoring systems etc; I bowl here in a league a couple times a week. The food here is also pretty decent.

Visited this location today… the staff was great and everything was clean and well kept. I didn’t give it 5 stars because there was no bar and the food menu was very blah. But it works for a quick snack.

Cute lil bowling alley. Its small. People are nice. Fun little place, probably be back again sometime. And they offer free bowling with the purchase of a specially marked Tony’s frozen pizza. Sounds good to me!

The People that own this bowling Alley are the nicest people around… Have you ever been to a bowling alley with 18 lanes? If not this is the place for you! Its bright, very clean, Does NOT smell like French fries, lane oil and or dirty feet… This alley has a bar(Not full), snack area & a small pro shop. We bowled three games, and had a total blast.
