Americas Best Value Inn

They fixed up the place last year. Great showers, no fitted sheets on the king bed just normal ones, but guess that’s normal around here? Get what you pay for.

This isn’t exactly what I would call «best» anything. This is a super cheap – and I mean cheap– motel. Everything is old, dusty, moldy and well-​used. Staff is polite. Breakfast is a joke and prepared under completely unsanitary conditions. Do yourself a favor, and spend a few more bucks and stay somewhere else. you’ll be glad you did.

Is there anything less than 1 star? Because this place doesn’t deserve that much. We booked 2 nights here in the winter requesting non smoking. When we arrived they had us in a non smoking room so we had to be moved to another room. The room was freezing because they had the heat off. We went to bed and after a couple hours I had to use the restroom. I noticed a small roach crawling up the shower curtain. Little did I know my husband had seen one on the wall. My husband got up early (5am) turn drive around town. I rolled over to go back to sleep and felt something crawl across my arm (an adult roach). Of course I freaked. I got up, packed my stuff up and tried to wait for my husband. While I sat in the chair I noticed multiple roaches on the walls behind the entertainment center. I had had enough. On the way out the door I grabbed a tissue and caught one off the wall and took it with me to the main desk. The young man on duty was pleasant but when the manager finally showed up he was so full of himself. Accusing me of bringing the roach in. I demanded a refund for the partial nights sleep I got and the second nights deposit. He gave me a partial refund reluctently. It took me writing to the chains main office in order for me to get any satisfaction. God I hope I didn’t bring anything home with me! :(
