I lived at 306 West while in town for work and was very pleased! Close to EVERYTHING — never use your car again! The complex is new, clean, and super pet friendly! All the residents we met were friendly and considerate. And best of all, the units are quiet! For a high rise building with lots of pets, it’s awesome! The only sounds we ever heard were when people talk loudly walking through the halls, but there’s no sound transfer from above, below, or beside. The polished concrete floors were both modern and functional with pets — so easy to sweep right up! As a Florida girl living in Wisconsin over the winter, I thought they might keep the unit too cold, but I didn’t find that to be the case at all. The units are also very electrically efficient. The staff(particularly Arnie — He’s a rockstar!) were all very responsive and accommodating — I had some unique circumstances to my stay and they didn’t miss a beat in making me happy here. They really spoiled me. When I went looking for my next apartment in Florida, nothing compared. The outdoor area is fantastic and we used it often. It was always clean. As was the community room which I reserved a few times for private events — a plus, as I only had a one-bedroom and little furnishings. Other Pros — Heated under ground parking, yes please!(extra fee); carts provided for easy transportation of groceries and other goods up to your apartment; green cleaners(no nasty chemical smells for me or my fur babies); resident activities and services!; prewired internet through a very affordable provider; easy online payment. Just a few Cons — the gym is small and basement-like(no windows — this is the only reason I don’t have a 5 star); if you get a unit that looks in, it is SO grey all winter long — that was more of an issue for me coming from Florida than I though — in hind-sight, I should have sprung for a view ‘out’ — so SAD folks beware(maybe something experienced mid-westerners already know…)
