This review is on behalf of my now deceased grandmother. I convinced her to get expert medical help for her chronic back pain. Her insurance directed us here, to Dr. Keehn. He gave her 2 lumbar steroid injections on 2 different occasions, and then did an MRI or CT scan(can’t remember which) of her back. It seemed that after the MRI he didn’t want to deal with her anymore, so he sent in a nurse practitioner to tell her that she had 3 herniated discs and some stenosis, and there was nothing more they could do for her. This guy always seemed to be in a hurry. He would end appointments by asking if she had any other complaints or questions, and if she did, he would actually seem angry and blow her off. I am a nurse and convinced my 80 year old grandmother to seek this additional help, thinking it would help her remain independent and give her some pain free years, but I only look back at this whole ordeal and feel horrible for putting her through this.

This place is only here to take your money as the procedures they do only seem to cause more pain. After several years in their care, I sought help from a comprehensive pain care facility in Chicago. This place did OT, PT, pain psychology, meditation training, biofeedback, classes, Feldenkrais as well as pain docs. Their goal was to get you moving and hopefully reduce your medication. Between Rehab Institute of Chicago and alternative care, I got well. I cannot drive past this building and look at it without any form of PTSD. Keep searching… this place will not help you…
