Amazing latte. I got exactly what I asked for. The service is great, except for this one guy whose attitude was dry, but overall this is the best coffee place I’ve ever been to and I have traveled to many and I have to say… WAYTOGOBRADBURY’S YOUGUYSARESOGREATANDTHECOFFEEISSOYUMYUMYUM! I’ll be going back and making this my first go to spot when I’m in Madison.

Excellent crepes and pastries. We had a savory salmon with scrambled egg & a strawberry rhubarb crêpe and they were absolutely delicious. Perfect for breakfast and brunch. Nice hip scene, music and atmosphere.

After my 3rd trip to madison WI I found Bradbury. This place has a great low key atmosphere to enjoy every sip of coffee. If you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, have one of their savory crepes. It will brighten your day with every bite.

Fantastic Little coffee shop and crêperie. Looks fairly unassuming from the outside, but has excellent coffee and a short list of delicious, seasonal, thoughtful crepes. I had one with smoked salmon, herbed yogurt, spinach, pickled rhubarb, radishes, pecans, and pea shoots. Perfectly seasonal for spring and absolutely delicious!

I’ve been here twice. First time I got a sweet crêpe, it was delicious. The banana and Nutella is great. Second time I had a savory ham and cheese crêpe also very good. The actual restaurant is quite small with some seating outside. Tables are shared. Overall a great place for breakfast.

Amazing! I had the cold press coffee & a savory crêpe with smoked salmon and goats cheese, with a fried duck egg on top. The crêpe is buckwheat based and was light and delicious. The duck egg was so big! And extra tasty! Presentation of the food was really good. I definitely felt like I was eating something healthy. I’m finished and don’t feel stuffed. The coffee was also really great and not too bitter which you might get from a Starbucks. Atmosphere is also really friendly and active, there are huge windows, lots of joint, and hardworking staff are nice. The clientele are a mix of working breakfast meetings and people straight chilling.

Amazing Coffee — check. Amazing crepes — check. Super cute digs — check. So excited we discovered this gem on a recent trip to Madison. Went every morning for espresso and iced lattes. Finally had crepes on the last day and wish we would have every day. The nutella and banana was fantastic. Next trip back I’ll be here.

Not a coffee review. This is from a tea drinker. If you are a classic(slightly British style) black tea drinker then don’t expect your loose leaf Earl Grey or English Breakfast. This is a place for coffee drinkers or really good crepes. They’ve got herbal and other teas, but the closest to my typical tea was a Chinese one that was pretty good. Not my cup of tea(pardon the pun) but still good. So yes, if you are a coffee drinker, drink away. Crepes, check, they looked DELISH(wasn’t hungry or I would have tried one). The place is small but tidy and cute.

I went here on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. Their coffee is on a whole different level– I got the flat white and my friend got their chai latte. Definitely one of the best if not the best coffee I’ve had yet in Madison(and one of the best chai lattes). And since we were there we obviously had to try the crepes. We got one savory and one sweet both were delicious– I’m still thinking about the mustard they used on the savory crêpe. I can see why it could get crowded during the weekends but we went late morning on a Friday and it felt very cozy– the table bar thing in the middle was also the ideal height.

I adore this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Crepes are generally delicious, but these are exceptional. The honey and sea salt surprised me with how delicious and flavorful it was; I’m always tempted to stray from my loyalty to savory for it. But really, their savory crepes trump all– particularly those with an egg. Take advantage of their takeout– it makes a great easy dinner or a surprise breakfast for a friend. Also, the space is lovely and the seats by the window are great for people watching but it is TINY. Come alone or with a small group.

Coffee is always spot on. They seem to do a great job keeping up to date on the seasonal offerings from their coffee roasters(Kickapoo and MadCap the last time I was there). Espresso drinks are always text book perfect, and they’ll get creative if you order ‘off menu’. Regarding the space — they make good use of an oddly shaped building. Sometimes it can get a little noisy because of how tight the space is, and the tables are just a little too close to the counter for comfort. That said, every time I’ve been in there it’s been a great experience.

I’m not sure if confrontational is the right word for this review. Maybe unconventional? Hipster, let’s go with that. As evidenced by the large amount of highly positive reviews on here, a lot of people seem to love this place. That would seem to be backed up by the fact that this place is always hopping. But for me, I think the phrase«A-OK» is pushing how positively I feel about it. Let me start with the positive. First, it’s the only full blown crêperie in town. Maybe Denny’s or some God-awful breakfast chain like that serves crêpes, but this is the place to go if you have a particular yearning for a crêpe. And the crêpes aren’t bad by any means; it’s hard to mess up a «sweet» crêpe — cinnamon and sugar, or Nutella and bananas(bonus points for the Nutella currently being«house made»). But honestly, the selection of «savory» crêpes is where it’s at. Squash, spinach, feta, red onion, and apple?! You gotta be kidding me. Amazing. Second, the coffee(that they do serve) is good as well. If you’re a fan of buzzwords and trying to sound cool, the coffee here(locally sourced by a company called Kickapoo Coffee) is small batch, organic, and fair trade — everything a wannabe hipster needs. Also, it’s probably the best cold brew in town; I’ll give them that. But that’s about where I stop with the accolades. I want the majority of this review to reflect the positives, but there are a few notable downsides that I’ll briefly touch. First, the place is small. Like, size-of-a-living-room small. When you add in the number of people in here, it’s highly impossible you won’t find a seat. If you do, you’ll be snuggled up nice and close with your neighbor, and passerby’s will constantly be rubbing against you. There’s a table in the middle of the living room(maybe I should have said closet…) with stools so low to the ground, it feels like you’re in preschool again. There’s a barstool surrounding the perimeter of the wedge-shaped living-room-closet, which is probably you’re best bet, but there are a total of 10 stools, constituting about half the seats.(Have I mentioned how small it is in here?!) The selection of coffee, from a coffee snob perspective, is definitely nothing to write home about. I’ve never been asked what kind of bean or roast I’d like, and your choices of coffee are a pour over(Kalita), French press, cold brew, and drip.(Drip?!) It’s hard for me to get gaga-crazy about somewhere that doesn’t even have Chemex or V60; or has single serve coffee selections without asking you if you’d prefer a Columbia or an Ethiopia. The ambience is always noisy, the staff is somewhere between aloof and antisocial, the hours are limited, and I couldn’t even tell you the outlet situation if you’re wondering if this is a good place to work.(Have I mentioned you kind of feel like you’re in a can of sardines in here?) All in all, I don’t *not* recommend it — different places for different people, and all. But I’m not the biggest fan.

One of my favorite place for breakfast or lunch. Food is consistently good, coffee is amazing! The changing menu for savory crepes makes it new almost every time I come. Whoever put up the menu knows how to combine ingredients to bring out the flavor and colors. Highly recommended. Convenient parking around the corner.

The rumors are true. The crepes here are out of this world! I had the ham, baby chard, smoked gouda, egg and mustard crêpe and the honey, butter and sea salt one. O.M.G. The savory crêpe was just what I was looking for. The ham was high quality(it was textured, moist and flavorful) and the gouda was gooood-a. I liked that the«cracked egg» was spread all over the crêpe and cooked that way, cause it made for a great, fluffy texture! The sweet crêpe was the most satisfying salty-and-sweet dessert I’ve ever had. Buttery, melt-in-your-mouth goes well with salt. My only complaint here– it’s way too small! I imagine it gets pretty crowded on weekends. I’ll be back for crêpe heaven!

This place is pretty hip and also it is located on a corner, which is also seems hip to me. I’ve tried the drip coffee, the pour over, and cold brew. They do a great job brewing coffee; the coffee is flavorful. Their coffee is a little pricey, but definitely worth the price. I got the vegetarian savory crêpe made with kale, muenster, corn, and sun gold tomatoes in a buckwheat crêpe topped with fried egg and sprouts. Hopefully I memorized that correctly. I have a newfound love for sun gold tomatoes. They’re a little sweet, which I like. Lacinato kale is always a favorite too. The ingredients are super fresh. What you have to try at Bradbury’s is their Nutella Muffin. It is heavenly. It’s made with dollops of nutella as well as dark chocolate chips. The muffin is somewhere in between cake and bread, and it’s not overly sweet. The top is crispy but the inside is so soft. I was able to get one fresh from the tin. It gets busy on the weekends with their limited seating. They have long tables for you to sit at!

Such a cool little place. The best coffee in Madison and the best(maybe only, honestly) crepes in the city. There is a very cool industrial eclectic vibe going on. I used to go here every morning(it helped that I lived across the street). I still would if I didn’t live just on the other side of the square now. It’s a gorgeous, serene space to enjoy a cup(or pot) of coffee leisurely over a book or newspaper or to get some work done and then move on to a lovely light breakfast or lunch with a sweet or savory crêpe; however, as its tiny and popular, that isn’t often easy. It’s usually pretty crowded, so if there’s space open, grab it and hold on for dear life.

Very cool layout. Storefront is on a sharp corner so the space is triangular. Parking close by can be challenging. I went on a Sunday morning at about 10am. It was very full and had limited seating. Prepare to get a little cozy with a stranger or two. I ordered a drip coffee, mocha, and a ham/gouda crêpe. Drip coffee– extremely sour, almost like acetic acid. Although, not burnt tasting. Lots of cream and sugar did the trick. Mocha– really nice balance of coffee and chocolate. Not too sweet. I didn’t need to adjust this one at all Ham and Gouda Crêpe(buckwheat) — awesome! really good thick cut ham, like spiral cut ham with lots of cheese and an egg. Comes with a side of stone ground mustard that complements very nicely. Just as good as the crepes at Chez Nanou but are about $ 4 less expensive.

I love a good cup of coffee, and when I heard that there was a place in Madison serving up coffee and crepes, I had to try them out. I had just spent hours at the children’s museum around the corner so I REALLY needed a pick-me-up. I stopped in with my preschooler son and my mom, and my first thought was that this place was tiny. There were some college students on laptops and I drop in with a 4-year-old. I honestly felt bad for all the noise I knew he would make. I ordered a mocha and a Nutella/Banana crêpe. Service here was horrible. My order took forever to come out and the person at the register was a little rude(probably because I came in with a 4-year-old). My crêpe tasted pretty good, but I really wasn’t a fan of the coffee… or the service. I wished the location was a lot larger(and maybe not located around the corner from a children’s museum).
