Enterprise Rent-A-Car

One of the most professional and well run enterprise locations. I rent from them between 1 to 4 times a month for work and have never had a problem. It usually takes about 5 minutes if not less to get everything taken care of and out the door with my car. I will continue to use this location for all of my future rentals.

I’ve rented from this location twice and my experience couldn’t have been better! They were totally accommodating, and picked me up in Monona to get my car. I was able to return the car to the Madison airport location the next day to catch a flight which made my travel plans super easy. They made sure my car had bluetooth at my request, and that the car was appropriate for winter weather. Customer service with Enterprise is always excellent, with no high pressure upsell for extras, and super quick to be in the car and on the road!

Phenomenal customer service here. This is our second time renting from this location and it’s our go-​to in Madison because the staff is so kind, professional, & accomodating. Today is the busiest travel day of the day & they were so great to work with. Good rates too– 29.99 a day. Special shout out to Brian who went above and beyond to make sure I got the car I wanted.

I have rented the car couple times at this location but last time it was not as expected. Rented the SUV but gave me hard time driving. Not a good experience driving Chevrolet Equinox. Totally waste of my money and ruin my whole 5 day trip.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with not only THIS Enterprise location but also the location on American Parkway in Madison on February, 18^th, 2014. I had an appointment to drop off my car at ABRA glass on High Crossing Blvd. at 7am on Feb. 18^th. I was told on February 8^th, when I schedule the appointment to drop my car off for repair work that I would have a rental ready for me when I dropped my car off on the 18^th. I picked the early morning drop off time so that I could drop my car off and get a rental in time to get to work across town by 830am. However, when an agent from the Enterprise location on America Parkway came to pick me up he informed me that the American Parkway location had NO rentals available for me. He then told me that he would be able to give me a ride to work, which he did, and then told me that another location would have a rental for me by the end of the day. While I appreciated the ride to work, it also left me without a car for the entire day. Also, I then had to start making calls to find a ride to get to Enterprise after work so that I could go pick up the rental that was supposed to be ready for me at 7am. I was told by the first agent that the Odana Road Enterprise would have a car ready for me by the end of the day. I had to work on Feb. 18^th til 530pm, so at 4pm I called the Odana Rd. location to make sure that they had a car there for me to pick up. Well, when I called there, they told me that they did NOT have a rental for me and that I needed to go to the Enterprise location off the Beltline, b/​c that is where there would be a rental for me. I then called the Beltline location to verify and they said that they did have a rental for me to pick up. Enterprise offices close at 6pm, so I wanted to make sure that the Beltline location knew that I was first leaving work at 530pm and thus would be cutting it very close to 6pm when I would arrive to pick up my rental. After arranging for a friend to pick me up from work to drive me over to the Beltline Enterprise location, I called them once again at 555pm as I was about a block away and wanted to make sure that they knew that I would be there before 6pm. At that time the agent on the phone told me that now there was NOT a rental car for me at the beltline location either and that someone was «supposed to have called» me to tell me this! At that point, I told him that I HAD to have a rental as I had been promised one at 7am and I needed to be able to get to work the next day. The agent told me that they ONLY rental that they had at the Beltline location was a 15 person passenger van. I said that if that was my only option, I would take it as I NEEDED a vehicle to get home and to work the next day by 7am. After waiting in the office of the Beltline location for almost half an hour and pleading with them to give me any sort of rental, I was finally able to leave after 6:30pm with a FIAT. Now, at this point I was grateful for a rental of any kind, but a driving a FIAT in Wisconsin in the middle of February is less than ideal. However, I was happy to have a working car and NOT a 15 person passenger van. I wish that I could say that this horrible day was the end to my debacle with Enterprise, but it was sadly not. I only had the FIAT for 2 less than 2 full days, as I picked my car back up from ABRA after 4pm on Feb. 20^th, but after receiving the FIAT back on Feb. 21^st Enterprise then tried to claim that I had damaged the FIAT while I had it. When they called to inform me of the damage that they believed I had done to the FIAT I was outraged! After many phone calls and follow up I was finally notified, by letter, on March 1^st, that Enterprise was NOT going to take any further action against me for WHATEVER damage they were saying was on the FIAT. This experience was a complete nightmare from start to finish with Enterprise and I will NEVER rent a vehicle of any kind from them again!

I had a bad experience with Enterprise rent-​a-​car. I repaired my car at Gates Auto Body (Madison — West) and they offered me free loaner car from Enterprise. When agent from Enterprise come with documents I asked whether this rent will be payed in full by Gates, he reassured me in that. Than I talked that I didn’t need any additional coverage cause I have mine from Progressive. He said that this is only formal questions, so I will be responsible only for gasoline. Everything looked ok and I signed rental agreement (yes, that was my fault to not read everything, but I supposed that everything will be as agent said me before) I get from them decent Hyundai Sonata for 5 days and everything was fine until I saw in my credit card statement bill from them for 164 $ (should be about 15 $ for the gas). I called Enterprise and described the situation and they said that manager will call me next day. After 2 business days with no calls from them, I call once more. I talked with manager and she said that I signed that I agreed with some additional optional insurance from them and bill was correct. After that she said that she cannot do anything, because she didn’t know what we talked with agent about. Manager was not helpful at all, she only assured me that agent will call me next day to resolve any issues. So I didn’t get any calls back for about a week. I am totally disappointed with Enterprise and how they treat their customers.
