Visited Forever 21 today with my daughter. Staff was nowhere to be found. We literally could have walked out with an entire rack of clothes and aside from the alarm going off nobody would have noticed. They were all standing at the back desk laughing. There was one girl at the front desk who seemed to be the outcast of her group of employees. The clothing was in total disarray; half on the floor half hanging off hangers and just looked bad… Goodwill looks better than Forever 21 on this day. We did find some unmentionables to try in so we headed to the dressing room. Mistake # 5. This girl had her headphones on and looked as messed up as the store she was working in. We decided to forego the dressing room and on our way out decided to try to alert manager of the goings on in the store… We’ll have you ever asked high school children for their supervisor? Haha when we politely asked who was their super, the boy working there said«well we all have someone above us so what’s your problem?» Finally he went to get a girl who was even younger than him and seriously not a supervisor. We asked if she would walk with us as we told her the happenings of our trip to the store. Without asking our names she just offered 10% off our next visit purchase. Ugh!!! I will continue to do my Forever 21 and Urban Outfitter shopping ONLINE! never again. I’ll also be emailing corporate… I’m tired of this kind of customer«Disservice»

Forever 21 took over the very large space in West Towne Mall previously occupied by Steve and Barry’s. Offering quite a bit of product, it’s a bit cramped when there are lots of customers, but selection trumps navigation, especially considering it’s a chain aimed at teens and young adults. Forever 21 offers tons of ultra-trendy clothing, jewelry, and shoes on the cheap. The really cheap. I’ve bought several pieces of jewelry there, with nothing ever coming in over $ 7. The quality is on par with the price — almost any chain I’ve gotten from there has busted a link — but since it’s so inexpensive it’s no big deal to fix it with a pair of pliers. On the flip side, there are plenty of pieces I’ve had for years that have held up just fine(earrings, mostly). I’d give this four stars if the service was a little better. There’s almost always a monster line, despite having six registers, three on each side of the store — they just don’t staff enough people to have them all open. Also, the cashiers often aren’t good at(or perhaps don’t have the authority to be good at) mediating customer service issues. For example, the last time I was there the girls in front of me decided they wanted to go look for something else halfway through their order being rung up. I stood there for literally ten minutes, then the girl decided she was not going to buy anything, and the order had to be voided. In the meantime, it would have been helpful if the cashier had rung the rest of the people in line up at the next register, but that might not have been possible(couldn’t be logged into more than one station at a time, there might not have been a till in the other register(s), etc.). In any case, most people don’t go to the mall expecting outstanding customer service, and the large selection and rock-bottom prices make up for other deficits.
