The selection here is really interesting. A lot of animé stores have the same exact merchandise, but I liked that this place had action figures, mystery boxes, and trading cards for series I’ve never even heard of. They also have some classic and contemporary stuff mixed in, as well as non-​animated merch (Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Buffy, etc) so I think there’s something for everyone. The prices were very fair and the guy working was friendly, but not overbearing.
My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because the pictures on here made it look like there was way more to look through. Maybe I came in at a weird time and they were about to restock or something. Who knows! I guess I was expecting more. I’ll probably stop by again in a few months to see what else they add.

Great little animé shop next to Outback steakhouse west, across the street from Kesslers. Easy to miss unless you know what your looking for. In a housing complex/​stripmall. Simon the owner cares a lot for the customers. I like looking at and buying Gundam model kits (High grade, Master grade) and he does custom orders. Also carries Gundam markers, wallscrolls, Variety of Pocky, and all sorts of Asian animé goods. Prices are generally rather good for the area — especially for a specialty store.
He has different gaming events, card events, pokemon/​etc. Check out his facebook page, you wont be disappointed!

I found this store when I moved here two years ago and I was amazed at all the cool stuff they have. Everything nerdy I thought I could only buy online they have there. This store is one of a kind, locally-​owned, and the products are fairly priced. Even more awesome, the owner always lets me know when he gets in new merch I might want. If you like animé, sci-​fi, cartoons, or anything japan, this is the place to go!

My friend brought me here awhile back. I kinda forgot about it. It’s not my cup of tea, but for what it is it’s amazing. I sent a few photos of the selection of Gundam kit things to a friend of mine and she freaked out in excitement. She made me promise to bring her here when she’s in town. The store really has all the little cute plastic toys you could ever want. The staff was also really friendly. I have no idea how the prices are compared to online, but nothing seemed outrageous or anything.

Copying this from my review from the old location: Simon is a fantastic and nice guy. I’m really happy to see his store doing well and it’s nice the stock rotates enough that you want to keep coming back. Finally Madison has it’s own version of Kid Robot and a neat place to find some awesome animé, manga, geeky, and pop culture stuff. If it’s not stocked in the store, Simon is more than happy to find it and order it for you… He will also keep checking on the item if it’s out of stock or back ordered. I also love that he remembers his customer’s name. It’s the small bits of personal experiences and interactions that make this store top notch.

A great collectables store! The owner Simon is amazing and will help you with whatever you need. If you’re looking for a specific toy he’ll do his best to try and get it for you. They do special orders with no problems. It’s my go to when I need my toy fix. Support your local toy store!
