This is my first review ever but when you get that really great customer experience, someone or group should get credit. Normally i would just let a manager know when one of their salespeople were extra ordinarily very helpful but it’s the 21st century so I need to get online and voice my reviews which help businesses and consumers. Jonathan at the Karls in Madison has the demeanor and patience that made me, a tough customer who likes to ask a lot of questions, and my wife have such a great experience. I saw that personable behavior when observing a couple other salespeople there so it seems to be a great store to shop for your home appliances. It was pleasurable getting our washer and dryer from shopping to installation. After our purchase I called Jonathan with more questions and if he didn’t have an answer right then he said he would call me back, got the answers and called me back quickly. He did this with a genuine attitude that he was happy to help. Got a great price and will go back again for my refrigerator when we save up enough money.

Just took delivery of a refrigerator and had water line hooked up. Water leaked… have dry wall damage, Karls states nothing to due with them or installer. I called complaining asked for manager… they will not come to phone. … leave customer service rep to tell you not hi g we can do to help you. We are not responsible. Warning. Buy from another appliance store … customer service piss poor after delivery. They don’t want to know your name or your problem

Nice store with nice appliances. Customer service is abominable. Bought two items that were supposed to be delivered on the same day. One didn’t arrive. On next day, with another large window of time to be stuck waiting, the item was damaged and had to be replaced. Still don’t have the item. Go elsewhere!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This store has the worst customer service and does not stand buy the products they sell. Once they sell you the equipment they are not interested in customer service. I bought a high end whirlpool washer and dryer and after 1 week the dryer would not heat at all or dry the clothes. The washer has a strange configuration where it is actually destroying delicate items of clothing. When I called to complain they were completely unprofessional and refused to take the equipment back. They did send a repair man who was inept at solving the problem. I am the type of person that likes to give my business to small business owners. This taught me a lesson and for now on I will go to Best Buy or one of the other larger chains. I am telling all of my friends and family to never use this store for any of their appliance needs based on their refusal to take back week old equipment that is not working.

Don’t even bother opening the door to Karls. What a waste of time. We went to Karls at 3 pm today, on a Monday. There were no other customers in the store and 4 salesmen standing around. A salesman comes over to us, we tell him what we want(we are doing a new kitchen and need all new appliances). He tells us a little about appliances(we are basically pulling info out of him). After about 5 minutes he said he needed some water. He never came back to us. The other sales people didn’t offer help either. I sure hope someone at Karl’s headquarters is reading this. It was a pure waste of time and offensive as well.

In a strip mall in Madison. Went there to get a washer and dryer. Salesman was knowledgable and friendly. Left feeling good about Karl’s. Would go back if I needed anything.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have experienced with purchasing kitchen appliances. Purchased an item a month with a 2 week delivery wait. Waited 3 weeks to learn the item is no longer manufactured. At first I was told I had picked up the item. No communication from Karl’s until I had to call for a status. They even tried selling me on a different(more expensive) item. Asked for a refund that is now approaching a week to resolve. I strongly advise avoiding this place.

This is the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a retailer in y 40 years of doing so. The wachine machine didn’t work but I can’t get my mony back and they could care less.
