We purchased a hot tub at Leisure Concepts several years ago. Admittedly, our family is hard on equipment. When the buttons to turn on the pump and bubbles stopped working, they devised a new push button system for us that held up well. We’ve bought most of our chemicals through them, as well, and they helped me problem solve the numerous self-made chemical issues we’ve had over the years. We’ve liked working with them because they ARE a small, local business. In our experience they’ve been really responsive. They never made us feel bad when we had a problem, they just helped find a solution. They also had the best prices I could find, locally, or on the internet.

I really want to give this place a higher rating because they are a small business in Madison. The sales process was pretty good: informative, helpful, no pressure. After the sale is when my problems started. I get the impression there are not many people working at Leisure Concepts. Maybe one or two employees? With minimal staffing, it doesn’t allow for a lot of time to answer the phone, make service calls, or follow up on customer inquiries. Over the course of 2 months, I requested follow-up 4x. Leisure Concepts never once made any effort to contact me to resolve my problems. I get the impression they landed a $ 10,000 sale and don’t want to hear from me after my check cashed. If I have questions or request them to come out for service or to fix something, they tell me to do it myself. They try to explain over the phone how to do it. I’m no expert and I’m not about to start taking apart panels to repair/maintenance such an expensive piece of equipment without any knowledge of what I’m doing. I’m more than happy to pay for a service call if that’s what it takes, but I get the feeling either they don’t have the staff to do it, or just plain and simple, don’t want to deal with me. I’ve given up on trying to work with them and I’m going to their largest competitor for service and supplies from now on. It’s just not worth the hassle for me. I’ll gladly give my business to somebody else. My advice to anybody in the market for a new spa or sauna is to steer clear of this place. Sorry guys.
