MadCity Bazaar

MadCity Bazaar is a small pop-​up flea market held in a parking lot next to Burr Jones Field on East Washington avenue. There’s a good rotation of vendors ranging from honey-​based beauty products to candles to kombucha.
The bazaar is easy to spot from the road and pulling on and off from East Washington is easy due to the light. You won’t have to walk far since parking is in the same spot as the booths. The biggest detractor from the bazaar is that in the summer heat and sun, the setting can be brutal. It’s hot, there’s no shade around the vendors themselves save their pop-​up tents, and the asphalt reflects the sun and heat.
The site has been in talks as a future public market, so I’ve got my fingers crossed these vendors will one day be able to move indoors!
