Love Dr. Melius!
Went to Melius, Schurr and Cardwell on a recommendation. Because I was an OB patient, they rotate you through all 4 doctors (one of the 4 is on call when you deliver, therefore, you get to meet all of them ahead of time). Very happy with the practice in general, but ended up feeling most comfortable with Dr. Melius. He ended up being the doctor on call the day I delivered and he was great.
In short, he’s awesome. Extremely knowledgeable and up to date on everything. He’s warm, funny and very personable. He is gentle, calm and reassuring. The man listens!!! He talks with you, not at you and makes you feel like a person, not just a chart with a name attached. He does tend to run behind, but that is only because he spends a lot of time with each of his patients. I’m OK with waiting for that.
I have now seen him for OB care, delivery, postpartum and as a GYN patient and he is great in all areas.
