I really like Nordstrom rack. I would have given them 5 stars if the sore was a bit bigger and their selection of certain men’s designer brands was more consistent. Overall the store has a great selection of men’s clothing and shoes and they have some women’s plus sizes but not much. I wish it was more instead of the stuff for skinny women. I would also like to see a bigger selection of men’s big and tall sizes so they can cater to a larger demographic and compete with more retailers.

It’s like an upmarket TJ Maxx/Marshall’s and I loved it. Prices on most things were a good deal, with a few(notably shoes) marked maaaaaybe $ 5 below MSRP and claiming to be an amazing price. I stopped in with my sister and we both found things to love. Yay!

Why, oh WHY did I walk into Nordstrom Rack without money to spend?! I found no less than three things I wanted to buy within the first five minutes. «I must leave here IMMEDIATELY!» I agree with a previous assessment that the store layout is awkward. But they have a great selection of stuff that I didn’t know I HAD to have. Now if we can just have our very own Nordstrom so I don’t have to drive to Chicago(what is UP with THAT?!) I’ll be a happy girl. And… Oh yes. Money is nice too.

Great. If I thought I had any chance of saving money in 2015, that went out the window and 20 minutes west to the new Nordstrom Rack in town. Here’s the thing… there are very few things I will spend gobs of money on. A nice present for someone special, octopus and shoes. Lots and lots of shoes. I think the bug bit when I lived in Arizona and had a friend who had easily 100 pairs. She taught me the ropes; how to spot a deal, how to rotate them often to keep them around longer and good shoes hurt, they look good for a reason, not because they’re comfortable. I can bypass everything else at this place and head straight for the kicks, and I have. Four times since they opened. And each time I’ve bought(at least) one pair. The selection really can’t be beat, and when you catch them on a day they’re doing an extra 25% off already reduced items, it’s like you’ve won the lottery. Prices are still a bit high, but I recall from other Rack openings that they spend a couple of months getting a feel for the market and demand. I’m sure I’m not helping them revaluate pricing in the men’s shoe department what with my fast and loose spending. The only thing I don’t dig is the checkout area which is pushed all the way to one side of the store. Also when they opened in the fall the place was stocked with staff and that’s since changed. It’s harder to find someone to ask a question these days, but perhaps that’s because they let go of their holiday help.

Nordstrom Rack opened on 10÷3÷14. All the friends kept raving about Nordstrom Rack, so I had to check it out. Having never been to any Nordstrom Rack location, I didn’t know what to expect, but I was blown away! They have tons of clothes(for women, men, kids, & babies), accessories, shoes, etc. at discount prices. I think I was most blown away by the shoes because they had tons of brands I recognized(Lucky Brand, Nine West, Steve Madden, Toms, Sperry’s, Uggs, Nike, ASICS, etc.) for a fraction of what you would pay in other stores. I found lots of great deals! I’ll be back! :)
