We did not have a problem but everyone else seemed to have had problems.
People who ordered before us did not get their food till long after we got our food.
Another person missed going to the movies as they had planned after eating at Popeyes because they did not get their food that they ordered because it took so long.
Another man with his son was waiting for their food as we were leaving made a comment about not getting his food. Long wait.!!
So even though we did not have a problem the other customers said the service has gone down at this Popeyes.

We waited 25 minutes for our order of mild chicken. When we got home with our order it was spicy chicken. It had been fried in old grease and the chicken tasted and smelled like burn food. So bad we couldn’t eat it. Our order of red beans and rice was also not fit to eat. The rice was over cooked and mush. So it was just a waste of $ 30.00. We have ate there many times befor but the service and food as really gone down hill. Needs some new managers.

Food is decent but OMG does the service suck! Almost 40 minutes in the drive thru and the only reason I waited is because my family, waiting patiently at home, really wanted cajun chicken. They kept getting on the PA to let me know they’d be with me «in a few munutes» but that was a very empty promise. I truly wish there was better spicy chicken closer to me :(

Service remains sluggish and tedious. They got a sign about seeing their changes… must be inside, because the drive-thru is still nothing to be proud of for a major chain restaurant.

Yes, it’s fast food, but sometimes, I just want to get in, get my food, and get it home in a hurry. I can’t tolerate fried food often, but I do like their spicy fried chicken. They also have a variety of side dishes, so I can have slaw or beans & rice instead of fries.
And unlike many fast food joints, they also have seafood choices for my non-meat-eating daughter. She loves their seafood po-boy sandwiches. I’d love to try their crawfish, but it’s only available a short time each year.

I went through the drive thru, so I cannot speak to the interior cleanliness. The food was fresh and tasted good. This, accompanied by the friendly service, is why I am giving them 4 stars.

Dirty… dirty…dirty! Stay away from this location. Get your Popeyes somewhere else. Posted health score of 86… but I’d say it needed a 40.
