OK well to start the food is nice as always but be prepared for a seemingly rude and uncaring staff, the place seems gloomy and unkempt. There may have been only one positive person in the whole place and that person is not me or my date(Larry you’re doing your best and we recognize that). It took very very long just to get bread and that probably was the greatest part of this whole experience. Red lobster is a chain and this specific franchise is a let down to say the least.

Can you say TEAMWORK? I don’t know if that is a common practice here but that’s what I saw the ENTIRE time I was seated and I was digging it. From the hostess, waiters and waitresses, cooks and management I was taken care of. Checked on briefly here and there and not overpowered by «how is it? What else can we get you? Did you need something, ect, ect.» very pleasant lunch. Shrimp tacos were so good, just the right amount of spice

I won’t go into crazy long details but the only reason this got two stars is because of our server, Shannon. Shout out to you I know that you were already done for the night but thanks for sticking around for us! Walked into three hosts drinking Starbucks at the host stand. Thanks for the lazy greet. One took us to a dirty table and we stood there as she tried to get someone to answer her on the radio. Akward. She sat us at a clean table that was apparently in a closed section because 15 min later we still had no service. Even though the table right next to us was served. This is where Shannon came in! He was awesome. Food was mediocre at best. The craziest part was that we saw no manager until we had already paid… His words were«Sorry, I meant to stop by earlier, but I got caught up. Sorry about the wait.» Great excuse man. Oh and to the server that was in full uniform by the front door smoking and on your cell phone I noticed you didn’t wash your hands. That’s gross and a violation… Glad you were not my server.

Well I am going to leave a post before we even eat. We were told a 20 minute wait for 2, well 45 minutes later and we still don’t have a seat. The point that makes us mad is, several rooms are empty and the door is shut, you would think with a crab feast special they would have extra help and all rooms open for seating. They only have a few waiters working and the lobby is full. The manager(s) shouls ALL be either retrained or fired, lots of walk outs.

My mother & I decided to stop in this evening and eat dinner together. Plus we both had a gift card we had both received and hadn’t use yet. We were seated promptly by a friendly hostess. Our waiter– Matt came by within in moments to greet us, got our drink order and returned quickly with our beverages. We weren’t quite ready to order so he was patient with us and offered a few of his favorites and the specials. Once we ordered our food was out very quickly. My mother had the catfish and fries and I had the Parmesan crusted tilapia, broccoli and potato. The broccoli was cooked perfectly and the tilapia was delicious. Full of flavor and just great. My mother enjoyed her catfish as well. Matt’s service was great. He wasn’t over bearing and very friendly and awesome! We will definitely be back!

Red Lobster has been my favorite restaurant since as long as I could remember. But this visit(BYFAR) has been the worst. So for starters, when we got seated our waiter, Dean, was very enthusiastic & peppy and there’s nothing wrong with that but then he THROWS the coaster to my mother when she’s not looking and then he just laughs it off saying«Oh you almost caught it!!» Next, when our food arrives, my mom didn’t get a side that she ordered and he asks him and he starts to back talk her saying, «No your thinking about this other order not that one.» My mom clearly knows what she ordered and he still continues to argue then, my mom says«don’t worry about it I would just like some melted butter please.» Then once we’re all stuffed I ask for a bag with extra cheddar bay biscuits, of course he says«it’ll be right out» after what seemed like hours of waiting I ask him if I can have my bread and he looks at me with a blank face saying«their coming» 5 minutes later they finally show up. Oh and on top of the AWFUL customer services Mom’s, mine, and two aunts cups were dirty and had water stains on the outside. I love red lobster, but Dean has to go. He complimented my boots that’s a plus! Pros: Great Food, Atmosphere Cons: Costumer Service, Cleanliness

This restaurant apparently believes abusive customers are most important than their staff. Shame on them. The customers who wrote the racist comment on the receipt should be publicly shamed and the waitress praised for refusing to become a victim. Restaurant management did not stand up for her then punish her because she stood up for herself. I understand service industry but the reality is the customer is NOT always right. That waitress should be rehired, given a raise and a bonus. Those customers have their faces plastered on the front door with«NOTWELCOMEEVER.» I will never knowing patronize a business that permits customers to abuse their staff.

If you’ve ever had their cheese biscuits, you know why people keep coming back. They are that special. Their seafood-stuffed mushrooms are also awesome. My wife and I each had the Bar Harbor bake. She loved hers, but I thought the lobster was a little mushy. My daughter always gets the coconut shrimp, and she always loves it, including this time. Service was quick enough, but not rushed. Our waiter, Bryan E, was very friendly, and patient with us while we tried to make up our minds about our drinks. Overall, it made for a very pleasant evening.

The seafood is fairly good, as is the service. It’s a bit pricey but that’s what you pay to get freshness imported from the sea. It could be a tad bit cleaner. The cheese biscuits are awesome. I go there about once a month with the familiy.

I remember as a kid when I thought a trip to Red Lobster was heaven. It’s just an average seafood joint if you ask me. The service was average. The food is average. The prices are expensive. There top seafood meals are around $ 25.00 or so. I guess for a place like Madison, Tn it might be a 5 star. However, I won’t be going back anytime soon.

Gross. Just gross. The floors are filthy. The tables are sticky. The carpet adhesives to your shoes. The food take like a frozen dinner. The service is ample. Every time a friend wants to go here, I cringe. I’m reminded how that if it weren’t for cheese biscuits, this place would be unredeemable. Obviously, I’m in the vast minority on Red Lobster because there’s typically a wait and people over this place.

Left here some months ago because the prices were outrageous and the servings were abysmally tiny. Scallops the size of small marbles. When you remove the breading, not much left. Recently went back, was careful to order the advertised specials and came away fairly satisfied. The scallops are still marble sized, but the prices were more realistic. Smallest shrimp ever!!! Gives true meaning to the word«shrimp»! I am amazed that so many businesses think the way to survive is to make the portions smaller and charge more money! I will tell you that the parking lot is usually less than half full anymore. Used to be that you couldn’t find a parking space. Anyway, I think they have«seen the light» and are making an attempt to right the shrimpboat. I will go back. They also own The Longhorn chain and Longhorn is showing serious signs of weakness: empty parking lot at the wrong times. Ain’t going back to Longhorn for overpriced tough steaks. They also own Olive Garden, the one shining light in their holdings. For now???

Oh man from start to finish the waitstaff was polite and I loved their southern accents. My bf and I came here for date night during my stay there and they treated us like royalty! So many compliments from everyone and not just from our waitress for a good tip! She was very attentive and brought out our selections quickly and sometimes it was before we could even finish the one from before. We left fat and happy! Def worth the drive from Nashville!

What most ppl dont know about Red Lobster here and the one at Antioch is there food is subpar, the crab legs and lobster especially and these are suppose to be what they specialize in. Crablegs bend and mush instead of cracking open, this is a sign of OLD seafood or overdone seafood. Their cooks definitely need some training in both locations. Waitress are great and friendly, food not so much.

Had a great experience. Bree was our waitress and she was excellent. Got the Admiral’s Feast and it rocked.
