Used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant, but last couple of visits have changed our minds.
1. Ordered lunch take-​out. 4 lunch specials and only 1 bag of chips/​salsa. Seriously? Guess I should have placed 4 separate orders. Charged 50¢ for more chips/​salsa.
2. Ordered veggie fajitas. Got all the fajita accessories; rice, beans, tortillas, etc., and then had to wait 5 minutes for the actual fajita ingredients. Got more tortillas to eat with my leftovers, and was charged $ 1 for them. Seriously

I was in the area for work and decided to stop here for lunch. They have lunch specials for $ 3.99. I ordered the chicken chimichanga. It was stuffed with lots of chicken but the cheese sauce that was poured over the top had a very processed artificial taste. The salsa was good and the chips were warm and fresh. Service was good the waitress kept my drink filled. Overall a good place to stop for lunch but it isn’t anything special.

Not the best mexican in town. Prices are too high for the quality of food you get. San Marcos is much better overall.
