The little connection nozzle sticking out of the air chamber cracked by the rubber O ring gasket, and the air chamber was leaking badly. A dozen emails to tech support went unanswered. When I called, they wanted $ 180 for a new air chamber. When I asked if there was a compatible glue that could repair the nozzle, since I didn’t want to dump more money into this bottomless pit of a defective product, they said it can’t be glued. In other words, don’t try to cut into our planned obsolescence scheme by trying to fix a poorly designed weak plastic connector, just fork out $ 180 to repair a 5 mm crack. I took out the ShooGoo, applied a drop to the crack, clamped it with a rubber band, waited 4 hours for the glue to dry, and reassembled everything, no leaks, no money spent. Don’t plan on SleepNumber to stand behind their products, don’t expect any help from customer support, go buy a $ 20 hammock that can’t leak, you will be better off in the long run. Remember, with SleepNumber, the customer is always WRONG. They are in business to make money selling expensive replacement parts, even when the problem can be fixed for a penny.
