My boyfriend and I have just moved to Nashville and have had a very stressful experience in our endeavors to assemble furniture. We had already broken a couple of high-dollar pieces when we came to this Target in hopes of buying something from display in order to finish putting together our modest apartment without any more added stress. We ended up finding a tv stand perfect for us, that was $ 250. We asked for assistance and asked if we could have the display. The MOD informed us that we couldn’t, and it was also sold out at the store. The closest Target carrying the item was 35 minutes away. Dennis, the associate who had been assisting us with attempting to get the item on display, guided us to the back where there was a similar item for FIFTYDOLLARS. Not only did he aid us in finding exactly what we wanted, he saved us over 200 dollars. He was extraordinarily kind. People like Dennis deserve more recognition for their kind and helpful nature. I also think it’s wonderful that Target donates their display furniture. Thank you, we will definitely return.

I’m a Target addict. I go to Targets anytime I see one. If I need ANYTHING, I go to Target. But this Target isn’t in a safe location. The clientele make this a Target I avoid at all costs. I had a woman once stiff-shoulder me in a very open aisle and try to pick a fight randomly. I just gave her a look and kept walking. A friend of mine had someone try to snatch her purse IN the store, when Target security grabbed the guy. I’ve seen Target Loss Prevention guys(suit and badge level) hanging out in this store often. People that play at Next Level Games(next door in the same parking lot) have reported multiple car break-ins in the parking lot. I’ve witnessed people multiple times who were obviously trying to shoplift and had multiple employees hovering around them. This is not to say that the staff here isn’t nice. I’ve never had a problem with the staff at all. They are always polite and get the job done right. This is all out of Target’s control, but it’s not a store I feel safe shopping in.

I’m usually not in the Rivergate/Madison/Goodlettsville area, but we stopped here one night after picking up an online item from the Best Buy over here. I’m really glad that this isn’t my local Target. I know that the mall next door has been going down hill for quite some time, maybe that has rubbed off on this Target. The whole area seems little shady, and I’ve been in Antioch before. I guess this is an older Target location that has been renovated a few years ago. It is a smaller store than most. They do not have that many cash registers and the grocery section is nothing like the ones in other Target stores in the area. The layout is also like how Target used to be, with the electronics in the front, right corner of the store, the books next to that on the end. It was a little hard to find the things we were looking for in the store. We went near closing time and didn’t see many employees or customers in the store. I don’t know what it was, but the vibe in the store was depressing. It was like being in a Food Lion.

This is the only Target I’ve ever been in that has horrible service. I may as well go to the«competition» if I want to be treated this poorly. I’m a loyal red card shopper who does all my shopping in Targets when possible. One of the things I like about Target is their price matching. Last night, I attempted to purchase an item with a price match. The Customer(no)Service gal punched in the incorrect item number for the price match and showed me a different model on her screen. I had my smart phone showing the correct model on my screen. When I tried to show her that the item numbers on my screen matched and that hers didn’t, she pushed my screen away and wouldn’t discuss it. She wouldn’t even attempt to correct the item number — just kept telling me that the price was higher. When I tried to show her that the numbers that she entered were simply transposed, I was belittled and told that I didn’t understand the process. The«manager» then came over and I was again told that they had to use the store screen for price matching rather than the customer’s screen. I guess it doesn’t matter that they were looking at a different model. What nonsense. We went to a different, nearby, Target who easily punched in the correct item number and honored the price match.

This Target store seemed to be a bit on the small side. We were on vacation and as always, we were missing a few necessities. Located close to the interstate, easy in and easy out and they had everything that we needed.

Danielle was super helpful and did everything in her power to go out of her way and help us find a night stand AND checked the warehouse for a box to put it in(due to snow all in the back of truck haha) She went above and beyond what most people would do and I really appreciate it!

Umm, this Target had NO «plus size» women’s clothing. Seriously, just a big open space where maybe it used to be? I know they have large people in Rivergate because oddly enough, there were quite a few very large people in the store at the time. Hmm…

It’s not the nicest Target, not the most well stocked stocked Target but it’s Target. I shop at this Target because it’s a quick jump on and off the highway from my house in North Inglewood and certain items are much cheaper at Target than they are at Kroger, such as cat food or hair ties. There is always a crap ton of parking at this location and if you come at 8am in the morning like me because I’m a freak, there is no one in the store and you don’t have to listen to screaming children. It’s also convenient to other shops that you may want to stop at like Bed Bath and Beyond or Old Navy etc.

I ran in here on vacation for a couple of items(read: hangover food) They had everything I needed and even stuff I didn’t realize I «needed». That always happens to me in Target. No complaints here!

The only thing good about this place is it’s location. The store is always dirty and the staff isn’t friendly. My wife recently had a encounter there where some clothes had been marked as clearance and when she took them up to pay the girl accused her of changing the tags. Only to find out that the whole rack had been discounted and she just jumped to a conclusion that was Incorrect. If you need something fast then I can see going in here but if you have the time just drive to Hendersonville it’s well worth the experience.

The parking is always convenient. It’s easy to get in and out of. The selection is really good. While it’s not the size of the other Targets in the greater Nashville area, it’s still a really good Target. I have always found the employees kind, courteous and efficient.

Went yesterday to buy various Christmas items & stuff for the house. This Target is like most other Target stores, just layed out a little differently. I normally go to Brentwood or Nashville West but I just happened to be in Rivergate so I stopped here. My main issue with this store was when I went to check out… they only had 3 registers open with at least 6 people in each lane. That is just ridiculous. Finally a couple of people came up & opened a couple other registers, and I landed in an express lane. When I used my debit card, the guy said«well it says your card is declined and you need to call your bank». I knew I had plenty of money, and thought maybe it was a technical issue, so I ran it again. Same comment by the cashier«says debit declined, have customer call bank». I knew there was no reason for it, but they way he announced it in front of all the other customers it made me feel like an idiot who didn’t have any money in her account. Booo. Of course I called my bank as I left and they said their debit processing company(First Data) was experiencing issues & just run the card as credit. All other things equal, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I probably won’t go back there unless I have to. The kiss of death in my book, for any business, is making me feel like a fool.
