From 1991 to 2015, my only exposure to Tastee Freez was the song She’s in Love with the Boy by Trisha Yearwood. I am happy to say that my exposure – and waistline – have now expanded.
We were looking for a quick bite to hold us over until a big meal, and this place fit the bill perfectly. The limited seating and small staff shouldn’t turn you off from good Burgers and great Fried Chicken. You can walk up to an exterior window to order or go inside to the counter and a few tables. This seems like a popular place on weekends especially meaning that the wait times can drag if the kitchen gets slammed by too many orders.
Even though my body rebelled with as much force as possible, I enjoyed every minute of eating here.
