I was referred to TLC by many friends then my eye doctors opiniom was icing on the cake. So glad i took their advice as the experince was beyond top notch!!! They are wonderful people there! Very thorough with everything and i was very comfortable with my decision. Surgery was quick and painless. My perscription was average at –2.50 but now the day after im seeing 20⁄10 combined in both eyes and just a little itchy eyes. Unreal how different you see life after this!!! Dr Probst and Dr Copeland are very knowlwdgeable in what they do. Tammy and the rest of the crew that assisted were fantastic! Highly recommended!!!

Dr Probst did my LASIK on Friday, January 31, 2014. I must say, from start to finish, I had a very good experience. I went into TLC in October of 2013 to find out if I was a candidate for LASIK. My prescription was −4.00÷−3.75 and a very slight astigmatism. They put me through all the tests and scans totally free and found I was a good candidate. They did not, in any way, pressure me to go with LASIK. I decided to wait until 2014 so I could max out my flex spending account to pay for it. Once I chose 1⁄31 as my date, I needed to stop wearing contact about 3 weeks prior to the surgery. There were two pre-op exams — one with my normal optometrist(Olson Eye Care) and one to do final scans for my LASIK at TLC. Everyone was very friendly, I was given a ton of good information and felt in very good hands. My arrival time was 10:00am. They took me to a little office and gave me another eye exam to makes sure everything was still looking as they expected. They went through all the post-operative care and explained how recovery would progress. They offered me a mild sedative(probably Valium) to ease any anxiety. Then I met with Dr Probst who was also great and very confident that I would have a good experience. Next, I was brought back to, what I call, the relaxation room. You wait in leather recliners with some relaxing music and such. They do the final preparations for surgery and then I was called in. I laid back in the operating chair. All I needed to do was focus on the red light in the machine that was placed in front of my face. I have to say, it was a really weird experience. The red light goes in and out of focus, for a brief period(seconds) you can’t see at all. Then everything goes white and finally they are finishing up. Each eye literally only takes minutes to do. The person assisting always told you what was about to happen and how many seconds you would be experiencing it, so that was very nice. I was in the car going home at noon. Immediately after the surgery, I was able to see the clock across the room. As of this review, it has been about 36 hours since my procedure and I am seeing better than 20⁄20 out of my left eye. My right eye is still a little foggy but it should be clear in the next few days according to my optometrist. The right eye is just a little swollen from the surgery so the inflammatory will resolve that soon. All and all, I have felt very little pain or discomfort. My eyes are a little tired and my swollen right eye feels a bit like there is sand in it. But, again, as long as I keep up on my regiment of eye drops, that should be resolved within a couple days. The entire cost for my LASIK(again, my eyes were −3.75÷−4.00) was $ 3950. This included EVERYTHING — scans, pre-op exam, post-op exam, follow up exams, etc. No hidden costs(so far) which is nice. I’ll add/change this review if I have any changes but so far, I’m very happy with the results.
