The absolute WORST place to get dry cleaning done. I had taken my husband’s 4 dress shirts there to get dry cleaned. 2 of the shirts had small tears in the elbow of the sleeves, so I was hoping to get those repaired as well. After speaking to the 2 very young girls who worked there, they could have the sleeves on my husband’s dress shirts fixed. The girls kept using the word«hemmed» on the shirt sleeves after I inquired about them being«mended», which is 2 totally different things. I had asked if the stitch job would be able to be seen in the sleeves after they were done. I wanted them to be as discreet as possible. The girls reassured me that I wouldnt be able to see the stitch jobs afterwards. For the VERY small mend jobs, they charged me about $ 18(not including the dry cleaning done)…to stitch up two ½ tears in sleeves. I thought that was kind of pricey, but I decided to have them dry cleaned and fixed anyway. When I went back to pick the shirts up a week later, I couldn’t believe the quality of work they put in to fixing my husband’s shirts… and NOT in a good way. The 2 shirts I had taken in were dark blue and very light gray with slightly darker pin-stripes. Whoever had«tried» to fix the tears had done a horrible job with a sewing machine. The stitches were so obvious… behind both of the stitch jobs was a white patch-like circle sewn on, so it made the alterations that more obvious to they stuck out like a sore thumb. The stitching on the light gray shirt was atrocious! Not only was it sloppy, but the thread itself was WAY too dark because black thread had been used! At this point, I was very upset. A man who also worked there walked up and starts discussing my situation with the girls. He is extremely rude to me and is not sympathetic to my situation at all. He is the manager. He kept telling me that«The lady who does alterations always does a really good job and knows what she is doing»…Clearly not if she can’t make the thread match the shirt better than what she did. The manager kept making it sound like I was in the wrong and was just being a difficult customer. Is is so wrong to get what you are paying for? I tell him as nicely as I can that I cannot pay for the 2 mended shirts because of my dissatisfaction. He tells me in an over-the-top, very rude voice«WELL, I don’t know what else she can do» We can have it taken there again…(to ACTUAL location)”. I was unaware that they have all of their customers’ dry cleaning and alterations taken to Tomball and have it all done elsewhere. Community Cleaners is simply the«middle-man»…and they will charge you for it, too! I pay for my regular dry-cleaning and the cost to have the shirt sent off… At this point, I just wanted to have the shirt and be done with them, I didnt really care. If they had good customer service, they would have fixed the shirts no-charge upon seeing my disappointment. Their dry cleaning is not recommended, either. There were wrinkles in the shirt still. When I went to pick up the last time to pick up my husband’s mended shirts, the Manager wanted to try and act so nice to me, like he shoud’ve done in the first place. When the girl rang me up like I owed money, the Manager says to her«Oh, she doesn’t owe anything, it’s free», as if they were doing me a favor or something… The color thread on the light gray dress shirt matched better, but the work from the sewing machine still sucked. The Manager told me he «talked to the lady who does alterations and said she needed to fix her work, because that wasn’t going to cut it»(This is the same man, mind you, that was saying she knows what she is doing, like having it fixed was so absurd). Yeah… right… For 4 dress shirts to get dry-cleaned, I paid about $ 35 and 2 very small attempted-but-failed mending jobs(my husband still won’t be able to wear them.) …absoultely ridiculous… After leaving Community Cleaners, I haven’t been back since and WILLNEVER return again. I do NOT recommend them to anyone.

Great cleaners, but stay away from alterations! I took a bridesmaids dress in to be taken up and the hem looks like a 4 year old got a hold of it.
