CubeSmart Self Storage

I thought I had written a review about this place over a year ago and just recently discovered I had not… or perhaps I did and didn’t save it. I have operated my business from this location and I have enjoyed the experience. It’s comforting knowing I have access to my «studio» when it’s convenient for my clients and we all feel safe behind the security fence. There is always «up front parking» for them, so that’s a plus. The ON SITE manager, Lesa is very supportive, friendly and has a great sense of humor. That woman works HARD to keep the facility clean, in good repair and generally pleasant. If I have a question, she emails me right back… even on her days «off.» On the one occasion I was dissatisfied, the Regional Manager was timely and efficient and involved all interested parties in providing a solution to the issue very quickly and to my satisfaction. The dumpsters are emptied regularly, which is something you don’t think of that can quickly become a problem. There is a high turnover (in my opinion) of the front office staff but upper management is consistent and available. The price is unbeatable and the folks around us (both commercial and household) are nice and have been pleasant. The location is easy to find for our clients and the space is adequate. I haven’t had any issues with pests, they keep the site very clean and cared for. The only concern I have had is temperature control (this IS Houston, however) and I chose an office that did not have water (in lieu of FREE electricity) over the larger one that has it’s own bathroom (water source) which was impractical/​inconvenient for my business. Neither of these issues are anything they have any control over. I highly recommend this option as an opportunity to grow a small business, in the interim between a home office and formal (contracted) commercial location.
