I’m sorry. But I absolutely dread coming in this store. And so does everyone I know(ok, except 1 and he’s a guy that doesn’t know any better) Employees act like they hate it here, employees are not knowledgable nor care, shelves are empty, the feel of the store is overall sad, skanky and dismal(where’s a knife), On the bright side… There’s HEB.

Kroger is not my favorite store to buy groceries. Why don’t they make the cash register receipts easy to read? Forget about the discount cards as they are ridiculous. Please give all the customers that walk through your door decent prices. The cashier told me they don’t like the discount cards or the cash register receipts either. There are self-checkout lines, but they don’t give a discount for self checkout; so I refuse to use. In this particular store, it does not smell fresh and clean. If you are needing fish and don’t know where to look, just follow the fishy smell to the back of the store. I finally got back there and by then, I had an upset stomach and nothing sounded good to eat. The smell is nauseating. I just left the store. I guess the employees are so used to the smell, they just can’t smell the stench anymore.

After coming back just for a balloon, I can tell customer service is also not a priority. The woman working floral was no where to be found and when she finally came around after a 5 minute wait, she was so short with me, I felt like I should take my balloon business elsewhere.

Friday September 11⁄2015 at 9pm I bought some sushi rolls in their sushi station. everything I bought was ether cooked or crab meat. After I ate I went to bead, in four hours I start feeling terrible, I threw up and also diarrhea. Every 20 minutes I have diarrhea and high fever. I went to my doctor and they told me, I have very aggressive stomach infection, they gave me some medication and send home. After all day in bead I still feel horrible, and symptoms not going anywhere. Please don’t buy sushi from Kroger, because they don’t care. When I called and spoke to store manager, he told me this sushi stand not part of Kroger, and they operate by individual owners. I told them I’m not trying to have conflict with them but I want to be sure they al least following safety rules. I don’t wish to anyone feel same as me any time soon. I will never shop at Kroger after this episode.
