I have to say I am a little annoyed after making an appointment to try their services. I went in mainly to try their spray tanning. Well, I made the mistake of not hearing the voice tell me to turn to the back and ended up having to pay for a second tan. When I got out of the booth from the first tan, I was confused because I did not feel the normal wet solution. I was completely dry and didn’t smell the tan like you normally would. I paid for the second tan (gave me 50% off) and it was the normal, clear tanning solution. I had to dry off before putting back on my clothes, like normal.
When I got out, I explained to the girls at the front that the first spray session couldn’t have had solution in it. I was told «the solution was full and it had to of sprayed me.» They would not listen to me at all.
So basically I paid for a spray tan where I did not get any tanning solution. I won’t be going back.

Went here with a groupon for a package of three spa treatments. It was okay, but I haven’t been back even though I have two more sets of treatments to use… That probably has more to do with the location than the services.
That said, I remember the massage chair seemed to be deteriorated pretty badly; my guess is that some of the clients’ lotion/oil/hair products react badly with the faux leather. Maybe they could have used a towel or drape of some kind to protect the surface (or to cover it since it looks pretty gross).
The rest of the facilities were fine. I’ve seen worse. I was only really interested in massage/facial services. Their subscription rates are a little pricier than what I’m willing to pay for just a massage chair, facial and hydro massage. Maybe if you are a fan of both tanning and automated spa services, it would be worth it.

I am a picky spa girl and really enjoyed everything about this location and staff. Front staff were very helpful. It was clean and I thought the facials showed more improvement than I expected! I use groupon’s here and haven’t signed a month to month contract. I really just enjoy going seasonally. Thank you for offering groupon deals for people like me.

I’ve only visited this tanning salon once (I lived out of state and had a Planet Beach membership at another location) but I can not say enough great things about this location!
The girl who was working was so incredibly nice and super helpful, even though I wasn’t a member of her actual salon. Kudos to great customer service!
I just moved back to the area and will definitely be renewing my membership with Planet Beach, just from my one time visit and experience. I’ve been to a lot of tanning salons and I can honestly say this was the best visit I have ever had. It might be a little pricey, but the service makes up for the price. If only other business owners treated their customers like this…
