IMHO, there is no place in the area that has better water ice than Water Ice Factory. We have been going there for years — decades, maybe — and it’s always great. It’s a summer tradition for our family!

My absolute favorite!!! This place kick’s Rita’s butt. Love all their flavors. My favorites are: piña colada, strawberry lemonade, and Orange creamsicle. They are cash only and such reasonable pricing!!! It gets crowded during week nights and weekends but totally worth the wait.

IMO, might be the best water ice around south jersey area. The flavors are made in house. The prices are cheaper than others. They refer to their gelati as WIF ball. There are over 30+ flavors to choose from. My faves include: mango, piña colada, passion fruit, and tutti-​frutti. I believe their soft serve ice cream is sourced by Turkey Hill, so your getting good quality. You can order a water ice cake or gelati cake at very reasonable prices with advanced notice.

Their water ice is smoother and creamier than the chains, i really like their peach and mango, they are stellar. Its cash only so bring the greenbacks, you wont be disappoimted.

My husband and I decided to stop in today and give this place a try and Thank Goodness we did. The building is so quirky and fun, the staff and who I assume was the owner were all so friendly, the prices are insanely low for the amount of water ice you get, the amount of flavors they have blows most other places in the area out of the water and the taste is to die for! We had the coconut and the cherry and they were both amazing. We will be back again this week im sure. Lol

I love walking here from my house. Awesome prices and the staff is always so nice. The water ice is my favorite!!! I love the chips in the mint chocolate and love the strawberry lemonade water ice. Someday I will try them all.

It’s a minute walk from my house so that right there gets it 5 stars! Can’t wait till spring when they open again. Great variety of flavors and prices are the most reasonable of all the water ice places around.

Best water ice around in my opinion. A vast list of flavors with their homemade water ice. Blows all the other chains out the window. I always make sure I go their at least once a summer. The best part is that it is not ridiculously crowed either even though it is so small.

There’s no better water ice. Local, family owned. Feels like you’re down the shore on a summer night. Hand-​dipped ice cream, major plus. Tootie fruitie is their classic. The ice tea water ice is amazing. Real homemade water ice with chunks of fruit. The best around.

Great water ice, much better than Rita’s. The only thing I would say that is better that the water ice factory is the Polish ice on the Ocean City boardwalk.
The mango water ice is creamy, a crowd pleaser, and one of the best. My personal favorite is the honeydew. There are all sorts of flavors, a lot of fruit flavors, some traditionally ice cream water ice flavors, and even flavors like ice tea and root beer.
Cheap, you can get a small water ice for $ 1.
Friendly, and more important with how fast a line can form, efficient staff.
This place reminds me of when I was younger. We used to go here after school at Triton, great times.
Their WIF (water ice and soft serve ice cream layered) is similar to Rita’s gelati, but a little different. The WIF has 2 parts water ice and 1 part ice cream, where a gelati is the reverse, 2 parts ice cream and 1 part water ice.

This place has the best Water-​ice I’ve ever had. THey have a ton of different flavors and each flavor tastes exactly like what they are. There are a few picnic tables outside to sit on, but you will probably be better off walking across the street to the park with the historic train station to enjoy your ice!

Great water-​ice, great prices!
Here you can get a sweet $ 1 treat, scooped out by fantastic and pleasant employees. I tried the peanut butter cup water ice this past visit and it was sooo good! It has that non generic water-​ice flavor and consistency. Mmm. There is a variety of tastes and I cannot wait to try them all!
