This place is over priced and the staffing is horrible. Came in this morning and everything is at least double the price of Shoprite. The store looks nice but that’s all. As I was walking around I passed by probably 10 or so workers, they were just stocking or walking around. When I got to check out, 1 register was open and with a huge line. They didn’t make any effort to call other cashiers to open the registers. The trip took forever and I spend more than I should of have.

This used to be an old A&P location and transitioned into ACME after they sold a bunch of stores.
The prices are way better than A&P, but for some reason this store in particular (even when it was A&P) has ridiculously high produce prices.
The Starbucks is a nice touch and always handy.
My only problem is the produce. Not sure what can be done.

During the A&P to Acme shift, the store removed self checkout. Huge disappointment. Also, the staff here is 10xs more rude than the A&P staff was. So instead of leaving here in the same or better mood (by using self checkout and bagging things my own way), I leave here in a worse mood because they’re so rude. Do you guys tell your employees not to greet people? Or tell them to stay silent when I say you can put everything in as little bags as possible? I’m not looking for a conversation, but a response would be nice. It’s looking like it it is worth traveling the extra 10 minutes to Stop and Shop after a few rude trips in a row.

What a difference a new store makes. Clean. Well lit. Great produce. Sad to see a&up go but welcome this change!
