Ava’s Flowers

I had called to see if they deliver to a specific location, and was told they do! I called on my moms birthday to see if the flowers were delivered and they had not been. I called the next day and the customer service agent told me that they no longer serviced that area. They told me they had tried to contact me via email to tell me they could not fill the order. They sent me an email at 4:00pm the day they were supposed to be delivered. I find this completely unacceptable to send me an email at the end of the day on the day they were to be delivered. I explained to the agent that if they had contacted me the the first thing in the morning I would have had time to make other arrangements. They told me they were sorry but could not fulfill the order. Now my moms a birthday has come and gone and she received nothing for me. They ruined my birthday surprise from me and my mom got nothing from me. They dropped the ball big time and I would NOT recommend this florist. All I got was an apology the next day and was told they would refund my credit card for the order they did not fill

I ordered for the first time with Avas Flowers. I ordered 24 White Roses for a friends funeral. My flowers were so beautiful that I wanted to keep them myself. I could not stop looking and them and playing with them. I highly recommend Avas Flowers… Will definitely order again!

I sent my wife flowers for valentine’s day, I live in California so I Googled the closest florist and got this place. I saw in their ad that they had a special that was normally $ 70 on sale for $ 60 which I liked so I decided to get that, when I got the bill it was for $ 92. I asked what the price difference was for and the guy said the Internet special was for the small size. He said the one I was charged for was the large size with more flowers, I’ll let you be the judge, the pictures of the flowers are included, they don’t seem that much. The flowers were delivered Friday, that’s the day I wanted them delivered so that’s fine but by Sunday they had already died again please see the pictures

Very pretty flowers. Order flowers for my mom and she was very happy with the flowers. I will definitely be ordering from Ava’s again.

Had the pleasure of spending all morning arguing with a woman from corporate after I had already ordered a beautiful custom bouquet & had them run my card. It was finalized only for them to call me back & say not only did they not have any of the things I had asked for, but they also didn’t deliver to the location I had asked. Mind you I had already talked to two employees to ensure that the order would be delivered as well as it was a fairly doable request. She tried to placate me with a much simpler order that didn’t even equal the value or quality of my initial order. I had order a custom bouquet of Burgundy Callalily’s, a single sunflower, mixed in with carnations and daisies. She tried to give me a bunch of roses and when I declined, she offered me a single Callalily plant. I will never recommend them. Fortunately I went with Nana’s flower shop in Warrior and they were more than accommodating.

These guys saved me in such a big way. And they didn’t have to. I called them at 3:45pm with a self-​inflicted emergency. I was running an event that started at 7pm in Malverne, and an important feature of the look of this event was the flowers. I had completely forgotten! So I called them, With not much hope that they could come through, because there simply wasn’t time. Charlie answered. I told him my tale of woe. He said «Hang on, I’m gonna do what I can to take care of you…» And I waited. Eventually he got back to me and said it was a go, and what did I need… Not only did they deliver BEFORE 6pm, but they brought such a beautiful bouquet, I was beyond pleased. I felt like I had invisible friends at my back, moving heaven and earth for me. I know this sounds over the top – but that’s what it feels like when a company takes customer service (and their business) seriously. Thank you Ava’s Flowers! I’ll be back, over and over.
