Gorilla BJJ Academy is lead by head instructor Mike Wilson — BJJ Black Belt. He runs his school with a tremendous focus on technique with a strong balance of self defense. His welcoming attitude and true desire to see his students excel in their BJJ skills as well as ability to protect themselves in real world situations is second to none. Seasoned BJJ practitioner or beginner, if you are looking for a BJJ academy in the Bergen/​Rockland area this is your place! I highly recommend stopping by to give it a shot!

If you’re looking for a new place to train jiu-​jitsu or to begin, Gorilla BJJ Academy is the spot. I’m new to BJJ, so the welcoming and family atmosphere at this academy makes it a great learning environment. The head instructor lives and breathes jiu-​jitsu, and is always willing to stay late after class to help anyone improve. Come check it out if you’re in the Mahwah area!
