Kroger

There are a lot of Kroger’s in close proximity to my house, but I always have the best experience here. It may be smaller but the staff is friendly and the produce is fresher. The pharmacy staff always goes above and beyond and are even knowledgeable when it comes to animal prescriptions.

Needed a cake server quick; but, they do not sell them. So, the bakery gave me one! Thank you very much! I’ve been shopping this store for many years. I like the convenience of the bank inside and the U-​Scan — both have friendly and helpful staff!

This is a typical older Kroger. It is a bit smaller than most and the selection is limited in my opinion.
We stopped in for a gift card, a bottle of wine and a card. The wine selection is very limited. The gift card center was pretty well stocked and offered a good option of choices.
I am sure if you just need a few things or the necessities you can find them here.
We utilized the Self-​Check out system so there was not an interaction with any associates except to say goodbye so I cannot comment on my experience with any of them.

PROS: cashier and bagger interactions, plenty of check out lines open, some updates, well stocked for holiday. GREAT organic section and sales on organic products. Very fresh produce.
CONS: stocking employees negligent, no prompted interactions with floor staff regardless of prolonged presence, employees talking amongst one another vs. engaging with customers. Can be «weird» about coupons.
Visited this location for the first time ever because of its proximity to my new home. Wow. Does not compare to the other krogers I’ve been to in the area.
For starters, most krogers I’ve gone to regularly have been made over and this one seem dated but still appeared to have some updated products and displays.
Cashier/​bagger were great! Very welcoming, efficient and friendly, engaging in conversation with me– this pleasant exchange of words made all the difference this visit.
Awesome organic section… So much selection and sales on organic products you could easily spend twice as much for at Whole Foods Market. Very fresh produce.
Pharmacy associates are typically really friendly but the pharmacists don’t seem to welcome questions or help customers. Sufficient service but could use work. Don’t go through the drive through pharmacy unless you’ve got some time to spare

I think this is one of the worst Kroger’s I have ever been in. It was filthy, they had a horrible selection on the shelves and the staff did not seem very happy. I’m really surprised by the condition of his store. Especially since some of the nicest in the city are within a few miles. Maybe they are considering closing this location.

There are a ton of Kroger locations in the area, but I’m reviewing this one because it’s a block from my house. It’s a slightly older store, but was recently renovated. It’s a bit small, it’s clean, and it’s what I like my grocery store to be: simple. They don’t have every product under the sun, but they always have what I’m looking for.
The staff is always friendly, which is great. This location doesn’t get insanely crowded, and that gives you more time to chat up the employees. It’s a little thing, but I enjoy the friendly greetings and the smiles when I walk in. I also appreciate the baggers not glaring at me when I’m being that annoying shopper whose reusable bags are all twisted up and is taking forever. Sorry if you’re stuck behind me in line…
There’s another Kroger nearby that’s shiny and new, and has a Starbucks (?) and huge aisles and crazy bright lights and massive everything. This location doesn’t, and that’s the best part. I personally want my grocery store to focus on groceries. I’m going in for toilet paper and milk-​I don’t need to see bikes and lattes and packs of undershirts in the aisles. I know superstores are the big thing, but I prefer to keep my shopping needs separate. And for groceries, this location does a great job.
