Absolutely love this place. Have been taking my daughter to Interlachen Peds for about 4 years now and have always had a great experience. The rooms and waiting area are always clean and the staff is always attentive. We usually go see Dr. Holson, but on sick days if she is not available we will see Dr. Smith who is also equally fantastic. Both are very thorough, polite and really listen to me as a parent as well as my daughter. I have had a few encounters with other physicians that were OK, but these two I can’t speak highly enough about. Also, whenever I call in any concerns about my daughter, they were quick to get back to me before the day is over.

This office has many pediatricians and nurse practitioners, which means that I can always get an appointment that is convenient for me (even same-​day). Patients have the option of seeing the same doctor every time, but I tend to see whatever doctor fits my schedule. This has allowed me to get a lot of different input about my child, and I appreciate that. I can see where some people may find this approach impersonal, but I am quite pleased with the ease of scheduling. Highly recommended.

I went here as a child and loved it. I then had a child and took him here and now I feel a little differently.
Pros
The place is absolutely beautiful
When you walk in there’s a sick side and a well side.
They have a little place just for infants which is really nice
Cons
I felt like my son was just next in line, not important.
They never seemed to teach anything
They didn’t seem to care about your questions
I loved the nurse practitioner there. Always so great.
