In all my years of working with vacation rental agencies and companies this has to be the worst experience I have ever had. Often times I book vacation rentals for business, sometimes our business clients look for recommendations for personal excursions. Up until my dealings with Joan at this company I have never had any issues. My beef isn’t with the location they provided(which was stellar! Go thru Andrew at Pure Kauai for some amazing homes) It was with the quality of customer care. I expect to be treated like a person when I am preparing to spend almost $ 20,000 on a location, or at the very least I expect a level of professionalism in dealing with negotiations. Instead I was condescended to, made to feel incompetent, and ultimately spoken to as if I was an imbecile. I was beyond shocked. I have worked with the VP’s of some gigantic movie studios and not ever been talked to this way. If it hadn’t had been for Andrew and Sunny I would have walked away from this location. It seems to me that in order to provide a service that is touted as being able to providing luxury vacation homes, of which I would assume they mean for humans with feelings, they would want the representatives to actually be nice, and clear, and organized, and helpful, and not lazy, and to provide solutions, not just tell you no. Seriously, if you need a vacation home on Kauai contact Pure Kauai( ) If you must deal with Hawaii Hideaway deal with anyone besides Joan.
