Vinnie’s Pizza

Hands down best pizza and I stand by that, I live right down the street and get a hot pie in about 20 minutes. I’m almost 21 and can’t remember not having a couple of hot slices a couple times a week and seem to always have a Vinnies pizza box empty on my stove! Nothing around here compares, never has, and in my opinion there are no good pizza joints around here anymore but this place will continue to shine I hope for at least 20+ more years and then some! I remember coming in as a kid after school and Dominick always asked about my day, Vinnies is a huge part of my childhood, my adult hood and hopefully if I have kids theirs too!

My absolute favorite local pizza shop. I’ve been coming here for over a decade. When my friends come over, we order an extra large. When it’s just me, I order to steak bomb. People here are super friendly and I feel like I belong when I walk in.

Nice local pizza joint and nice staff. If looking for descent pizza check ‘em out.

Still in love with this place after being introduced to it 2.5 yrs ago. Dom is gone, but Vinnie is still there every day and is as charming as ever. The new owner is also really friendly.
I’ve only recently ventured off the pizza menu to get the Italian Sub with a little oil & vinegar, pickles, and lettuce. The bread was so soft and fresh. The meats were flavorful and of great quality.
I can’t stress to you, dear reader, how great their food is. In the words of comedian Nick Swardson, «What kind of 5 star chef do they have back there? …Am I in Narnia?»

The service here is very bad! I normally order take out 3 times a week. Since I just moved to where I live now I decided to try this place. The food was ok but it wasn’t what I ordered. I decided to keep it because my kids were hungry and I wasn’t going to wait another 45 minutes for them to deliver the right order. I will never order from this place again and would not recommend. The food is ok but the bad costumer service makes it not worth trying.

Just called for delivery and because they close in a half an hour the delivery guy did not feel like making a 9 minute drive to our house. Not even going to bother trying them ever again.

Very nice people! I put my order in at 755 for 2 cheese pies and was out the door by 815 :) so fast!

I went here because of the great reviews, while the staff was extremely nice and accommodating, the food was terrible, pizza was ok, but the calzone was so groSs, no flavor at all, same with the chx broccoli ziti, won’t come back

Best pizza in Malden. Great guys and amazing crust. Highly recommended. Favorites are the pepperoni and the white pizzas!

Best New York slice I ever had in Boston. Also very reasonably priced. Must go if you live nearby.

not only is the pizza delish, but they are by far the nicest guys. not only did they apologize for the delay, but they let my toddler use the potty, and gave my babies a free slice. def worth the trek from my aunts house in Dorchester. ps the guy who makes the pizza is a true artist!

There are SO MANY pizza places, so many… that there is no reason to settle for less than 5 stars. I stumbled across this place yesterday and returned again today. Not only is the pizza as good as any thin crust pizza in the area, the deal of 2 slices with a can of soda or bottle of water for 4 bucks is a super deal. Love this place! Can’t wait to try a whole pizza or Italian dishes.

Jumbo slices of tasty pizza starting at $ 15. We ordered half toppings without any issues. The ham and pineapple were cooked deliciously on one side with pepperoni and onion on the other.
Vinnie’s definitely does not skimp out on the toppings but there were instances where four or five pepperoni slices were stacked on top of one another. Biting into them was a tad too salty.

Quick convenient location for a quick bite to eat or dinner! I love the subs from this place as well as pizza. I moved here in 2013 and I was very happy to finds local pizza place that has great food. The best part is when I moved here they took cash only but now they have credit and debit methods! I would recommend having the steak tips subs. They are amazing!

Ordered the chicken parm calzone for delivery to see how Vinnies was and couldn’t be more surprised on how tasty it was.

We’ve been going here since I was a young girl and it never disappoints. Vinny’s is a Malden classic, delicious pizza and dinner plates.
The food is always fresh, the sandwiches filled with lots of meat. Their pizza is traditional Brooklyn style, thin and crispy. Their chicken parm and fingers are fantastic!
Dominic and family are great!

I gave Vinnie’s a try for the first time last week based on some of the comments. I was aware that it changed hands and Dom was no longer there. But some said it was still good. Apparently, Dom was legendary.
I’ve eaten a lot of pizza over the years and have to honestly say this was the worst I’ve ever had. The sauce was bland, the cheese was bland, the dough was so so, and the toppings were not fresh. I can’t understand how anyone could like this pizza. I ordered a large. My wife and I ate one piece each and threw the rest in the trash.

Vinnie’s Pizza has in fact gone through a change in ownership during the past year but, the quality of food hasn’t changed one bit. The biggest difference other then Dom not being behind the counter spinning his magic have been the upgrades new ownership has made, Vinnie’s is now open Sundays, they now take credit cards and other then the EVERYDAY SPECIAL of 2 Lg Cheese Pizza for just $ 15.95 they now offer a Special M-​W of two Medium Pizza’s for just $ 10. Vinnie’s also offers a great price for Pizza Parties on order with 4 or more Pizza’s
Vinnie’s still prides itself on hand rolling their pizza dough, they still use the same ingredients, recipes and make two different sauces for their food, imagine the idea of getting a Pizza and a Pasta Dinner or a Meatball Sub and tasting two different sauces.
Dom has left, but Vinnie, the original Owner is still very involved, he still works here 4 days a week, still makes all the sauces and mixes and hand rolls the dough, the quality of food still remains the same, you’ll still see the same delivery people and will still get the same quality customer service

Great pizza! Dough is crispy and thin and very flavorful and juicy! Generously topped!
The place could seriously use an upgrade to make it a 5 star take out place.
But if u r looking for a quick pick our family would recommend it.

I have not had the honor of meeting the great Dom, but perhaps one day I will.
As far as the food goes, top-​notch. This place is a hole in the wall, you will miss it. I missed this place alot just walking on the street. But do yourself a favor and pay attention next time you are near the area and happen to be on Salem st.
The pizza is very affordable and cheap, and quality is infinite times better than your typical pizza chain (Dominos, etc.). The pizza tastes fresh and homemade. Their subs are great too, again fresh and homemade taste. I hear they have good pasta as well but haven’t tried it.
The staff is also great and they have daily deals for the frugal restaurant goers.
If you want good Pizza and good food in general, don’t make the mistake of missing this place!
