2 words: Vegan croissants. Heaven.(ok, that was 3). Only improvement for me would be a wider tea selection, but I know most people these days go for the coffee. I can’t speak to there coffee since I don’t drink it. Also I loved the outdoor seating. Good people watching if you want to have a giggle realizing all the Malibu stereotypes you have in your head are so so true. Great place, would return if I ever find myself in the area again.

Stale, weird, douche environment. They could definitely use a makeover. Coffee was great tho!

Love this place. Always stop by after the beach and it’s the perfect place to get lattes, cappuccinos, cold brew. It’s all yummy :)

I’m a latte person, and their choices were pretty minimal. Perhaps it was because they were under construction at the time I went. But friendly staff, great outdoor seating, and wonderful views.

I looked up this place before hand. I was traveling from L.A. to Oxnard to pick up my husband and wanted to stop for a coffee on the way. I had thought it opened earlier and I arrived a half hour earlier than opening time. I decided my curiosity to try this place was definitely worth the wait. I was RIGHT! I ordered a vanilla late. It came with a pretty lil design and it was ABSOLUTELYDELICIOUS. I’M TELLINGYOUITWASPERFECTITMADEMYWHOLEMORNING. Love the bookstore in the other half of the store. Never seen that. I cannot wait to go back. This one was actually a lil hard for me to find. But it’s to the right of Pavilions market.

What a perfect coffee shop! Friendly people Gorgeous views Nice outside seating Nice inside arrangement Built-in bookstore(hopefully long-term) Good coffee AMAAAAAAZING cookies. Cooooookies. Originally I wanted to try Lily’s Café, but for the life of me, I couldn’t find Heathercliff on my previous trips through Malibu. When I saw on Unilocal that this coffee shop was in the same center, I was determined. Riding back from Solvang, this place fell perfectly in the middle of my day trip. It was a hot day. I ordered a cold brew, and after feeling up all of the cookie options, I chose the vegan chocolate orange. Winner! That thing was so gooey and fresh tasting. Medium cold brew + quality cookie= $ 6.** Not bad for Malibu! Sat on the wall overlooking PCH and soaked it all in. I will always go here now!

Killer coffee. There’s a couple workers who are bit snobby. I’m ok with that, as long as the coffee is good, and it is. The main owner or manager really puts his heart into the coffees he makes. Glad it’s in the neighborhood. Excellent gluten free banana muffin. It’s a bit pricey, but if it’s a once a week indulgence it’s well worth it.

Coffee here is fantastic. I’ve had nothing but wonderful breakfast treats as well. Prices are reasonable especially considering the neighborhood. Service is great. Love stopping here after riding in the canyons. People watching is very rewarding. The parade of trophy wives with questionable plastic surgery and stick thin young women eying other people’s food longingly is the kind of entertainment you just can’t get most places.

Best Macchiato in town. Highly recommend. Pastries are great as well, the vegan chocolate croissant and the vegan cinnamon roll are my fav. Expect to drop about $ 6 + tip.

Stopped by this gem, while trying to avoid the nasty freeway on my way up to Rincon. I was bummed because I only ordered a double espresso, which would be my average order at any coffee shop. The shot was pulled great and had just the right amount of crema. My husband ordered his Double Shot and added a shot of raw Cane Juice… Delicious! At last my friend walked in thinking she could order a basic Carmel Macchiato but not here. The barista lead her to order a vanilla lattè. AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back and explore more of the menu.

I sincerely wish there were more coffee options around this immediate area like Cafecito Organico. This place is a not a huge coffee behemoth, only with a handful of locations. All the coffees are single-origin, responsibly sourced from growers around the world, and expertly roasted. The baristas are very good at what they do and were extremely nice. The five stars here is for the quality of the coffee, but there are just two downsides to this place. First, parking is a true nightmare. I think the plaza just has too many businesses for the number of spaces in the parking lot. Don’t come around lunchtime if you can help it. Next, there isn’t ANY seating inside, so if you want to come and do some work while sipping on coffee, you’ll have to do so outside, on the couches or tables. But, this is top-notch coffee and I’ll definitely return.

«I’m not a hater» I failed to order my tea Picard style. Failed at life. My iced earl grey was perfectly brewed and no complaints on the double macchiato! Barista had sweet ink. Nice tea n tats, bro!

The place to be and be seen in Malibu. Tucked away in an assuming strip mall, the little café turns out a killer cortado along with a dark, rich iced coffee. They have a great patio in which to soak up some sun, people watch, and pretend to be important. It’s kinda the Malibu way.

Bad coffee, bad service, bad price… everything is bad. I ordered my drink. They forgot about it and asked me why i was standing there. I was the only customer. I guess they don’t want us there. Fine. Starbucks around the corner will be happy to serve me. My drink was horrible!!! I was trying to remedy it with sugar but it still was bad. Expensive too.

I liked the service here. The staff seemed friendly and very helpful. There are no chairs insidr, its all counter space to drink your coffee and go. Plenty of comfy seats outside where you can enjoy your coffee. It happens to have a book store right next door you can walk over to. The atmosphere was laid back on a Thursday afternoon. The Flat White SoCal and cortado are delicious. I was wired for the rest of the day. The coffee here is excellent!

Can you dig it, I can dig it… I dug this place so much I bought a hat and started wearing it everyday. I just like saying Cafecito Organico over and over again. It just rolls off of the lengua, lol Malibu is weird place. Everyone is really unique, and sometimes that can be a little intimidating if you don’t feel so unique yourself. I kind of thought these guys were going to be hipster coffee snobs, but they are not. They are unique, but more like the eccentric teacher that you loved in high school. They want to teach you something new about that coffee that you love. They keep some of the best gluten free muffins around. I would be willing to through down for the last banana walnut muffin in the box. I like the mocha, but my standard is the café cortado with a bottle of the sparkling water. Buy a hat and support a local artist!

Cute shop and had a bookstore inside! This is obviously a local favorite, and a perfect stop before a morning walk on the beach. The coffee was good, but the portions were on the small/expensive side, which we didn’t mind too much since it was organic and in Malibu.

I finally came to this café to get a drink! My husband and I frequent this plaza to pick up breakfast burritos or a healthy smoothie, but haven’t actually ventured into this café yet… until this past wknd. I ordered a chai latte w/almond milk. The drink was OK, had a hint of ginger, which I’m not sure whether I liked. haha :) There’s free wi-fi and we sat in these lounge chairs outside. It’s nice to relax, but there’s no seating inside the café itself. Only a long bar stool area, where you can stand and read the newspaper, while drinking your coffee. Seating is only available outdoors!
