Computer Pros of Malibu

This place is awesome. They care about their customers, are not looking to rip you off, and know what they are doing.
I’ve been here twice now and both times they were able to immediately solve my computer problems.
The first time I came, my computer had crashed and wiped. I lost everything on it. They were able to somehow recover the hard drive (even though everything had been wiped) in no time at all, and it hardly cost me anything.
The second time I came here, I wanted them to look at my computer. My computer’s performance had become incredibly slow over the last couple years, and I had tried everything. I had a lot of people look at it, lowered all of my computer settings, updated my drivers, etc. None of that worked. When I brought my laptop here, they literally took my laptop apart, used a blowing machine, and cleaned out all of its interior. They were methodical and patient. And they only charged me $ 20 (another store had told me on the phone they would charge me over a hundred plus additional installation and hardware costs for a new video card — which I did not need). So it was a really great deal.
All in all, they will help you, they are experts, they are not looking to scam you, and they are friendly people. Stop by here if you have a computer problem. I’m definitely coming back the next time I have an issue. They’re great.

The guys are nice enough, however, not sure they know what they are up to. I took my computer to Computer Pros of Malibu twice, spent over $ 250, and my computer is worse!
Not only did I have to pay to bring my computer back (because it still did not work), my computer is completely crashing!
They rearranged my iTunes (some of the functions no longer working or missing), they changed up my desktop, my computer will not stay signed-​on to the internet, the sound is no longer working, and basic programs like windows media player will not work any longer.
They also recommended (for an extra charge of course) to install the «best security around» called BitdefenderTotal Security. It seems to make my computer worse, OR it’s not doing its job, allowing viruses in.
All-​in-​all I would SKIP these guys and take your troubled computer to someone you can pay ONCE to FIX your computer. Just because something has the name «MALIBU» slapped on it, does not mean it’s the best thing since sliced bread.

I’m sorry, but your front person needs to have a bedside manner. Rich is nice enough and really wants to help. and he can handle the basic stuff. We were having problems with doubling and he went above average to fix. We didn’t fix, its an apple thing. He needs a new receptionist, his rep is on the line.
