Dume Cove

Great spot to climb down and onto the rocks to beach it for a day or snorkel! Make sure you wear acceptable foot wear!!! I didn’t and my feet were shredded by the time I got done and it probably could of been worse cuz I walked slow. Snorkel straight out from the stairs and you will have plenty to see! It’s so beautiful and remote here it’s just amazing. This hike is not for the novice, it’s not the hardest but, by far not the easiest but, there were many people on the beach once we got down there!

My favorite beach for isolation. I can snorkel and not be worried with a strong current. You might even some some nudity here so be aware of this.
This beach is hard to find and can be access from the paid lot on the other side at Westward Beach/​Pt. Dume Cove or free parking in the neighborhood.
