Love getting the strawberry protein shake from the juice bar — so good and costs less than Sunlife Organics across the street. I am also vegan and they accommodate this diet very well!

I’ve been going here for years for supplements. They are a tad more expensive than, say, Whole Foods, but the additional service you get by far exceeds a dollar here or there. I’ve often gone in looking for a supplement and they ALWAYS take their time to help me find one that I can try. There is always someone there who is very knowledgeable about their stock and all the options available. I’ve even called in on the phone for help and they take the time to stand in the aisle and offer suggestions. That’s full service.

«Please sir, can I have some more.» One of a kind juices, if you want a memorable experience, this is the place. Personable service, the team makes shakes that are delicious and leave you addicted. The Pamela is simply divine and rejuvenates you within minutes. The Barn also has a wonderful selection of vitamins, soaps, clothes and the team are extremely knowledgeable as well as friendly. Dog friendly as well as any type of creature or person that has a heart beat and is simply kind.

The lean protein shake was amazing post-​run!!! I also really enjoy the Pamela with added greens powder, and the custom juices help me get my veggies in early in the day.
I love their selection of health products – powders, quest bars, protein chips, elixirs, etc. I just bought the roasted maca powder and have been making it to replace my daily coffee.
There is a pretty decent price markup (19.99 for a jar of almond butter!!!) but can’t beat the convenience, quality, and variety.
Also love the customer service. The guys behind the counter let me sample things for free and throw out a bunch of compliments. What can I say, I can be bought easily. All in all I’m spending way too much money here but I don’t intend to stop any time soon!

Love this spot.
I wish there were more juice bars like this one! They have so many options and have created delicious drinks and smoothies that have tons of healthy supplements and protein.
My go to drinks are the lean protein and the pamela, but I love everything I have had here.
They also have a ton of healthy snacks and vitamins. Just an overall great health spot.
The staff is super friendly. There can be a wait so I try to call ahead.
I will definitely be back!

If you want an affordable — delicious — amazing protein shake, Vitamin Barn is the place to go in Malibu. I love great customer service — the two employees behind the counter today were the best — I could stayed all day talking and eating heathy. I sorry I didn’t get their names. Ok, another unbelievable juice bar in Malibu.
Attached to a supplement store beyond all supplement stores. It makes me want to buy everything.
I love to stay at the Malibu a Beach in and head to the vitamin barn every morning.

Never have I ever been just ignored while employees talk, gossip, and laugh in front of customers. I waited several minutes, in hopes that they just didn’t notice me in front of their juice bar. Nope! They kept talking. I got a quick glance from a male employee sorting the mail, but he just looked down right away and kept pretending there was no customer. I will not be coming back here ever again.

It’s decent good smoothies, great ingredients. Sometimes the service is not that great. It’s hit or miss. The veggie wrap is pretty good, and very filling! I look forward to going back next time!

I understand that people want to close up shop but I came by in the afternoon and the bar closed at 4pm… I walked in at 4:02 and they wouldn’t even look at us. It was really poor service. We came all that way and they wouldn’t even serve us.

Started out as a nice shop until I showed up on Monday to replace my vitamins. Walked up at 603 pm. Figured I had plenty of time to get them. As I walked up the closed sign is up right below is their hours which says nothing about closing early on holidays. The lady voices to me that its Labor Day Holiday and we are closed. I looked again at all the windows which there is nothing on them to reflect this. Even on here it shows them open. Not happy.

Vitamin Barn. What a cute name… good olé’ vitamin barn.
It’s a small shop that has shelves stock full of vitamins, as well as a vitamin juice bar and an array of healthy snacks.
The woman who works there helped us find some vitamins and she seemed to be very knowledgeable about vitamins. She was able to answer all our questions and lead us to the right kinds of supplements we had in mind. She was very friendly and helpful, and explained why the a certain vitamin was good for us. Great customer service.
The health bar offers a variety of quality smoothies. Nothing like those chain smoothie bars like Juice It Up or Jamba Juice that scream of sugar. You can see everything they put into the drink, and it’s all natural and wholesome.
Overall, I trust this place. They want you to be healthy and it shows.

I have been to this place numerous times and I always have a great experience. The woman who works as a cashier is always friendly and she even remembered me (it had been months since I last came in!). The man who works at the juice bar is also very kind.
My favorites:
* the «make your own» green drinks
* the veggie wrap
* the Wellness shot at the juice bar
* the great selection of protein powders
Cons:
A little pricey (it’s Malibu…)
I wish there was better seating at the juice bar
Sometimes it can get busy and you have to wait a while before being served at the juice bar

After spending the afternoon at the beach in Malibu we were looking for a pick-​me-​up and stopped in here based on the Unilocal reviews, hoping to try one of their famous smoothies or maybe an acai bowl. We walked in and walked up to the juice bar inside only to learn from the rather abrupt gentleman behind the counter that the juice bar was closed.
Looking up at the clock behind the counter, we saw that it was 4 o’clock (on the nose). He informed us that the juice bar part of the store closes at 4:00 o’clock. Lucky us. He was quite adamant that he wasn’t going to serve us, and said he was in a hurry to clean up and put everything away, so we left empty-​handed and sad.
Just be aware of the juice bar hours if you plan to stop in… and be aware that at least one of the employees is a clock-​watcher with a case of the «I don’t care’s».
