I bought my gas fireplace insert from Gas Works about 9 years ago. Although I had prepared for my purchase with research and thought I knew what I wanted, they steered me toward a completely different model. I took their advice and I could not be happier with the choice! The fireplace looks great, has worked perfectly all these years, and saved us(and our pipes) during last winter’s storm when we did not have electricity for a week. Today I had the annual fireplace service with a technician from Gas Works named Sean. Sean was punctual, polite and an extremely knowledgeable professional. Although he did not have to, he cleaned the pilot twice just so that the flame would be the right color blue. He explained what he had done and the condition of the various parts he had checked and even changed the batteries to the remote ignition. I highly recommend Gas Works and if you need service, ask for Sean!

Bought a fireplace and they installed in 2013, in 2014 we started having a problem with the fireplace not lighting. I called for service and the answering machine said«we are currently scheduling service calls for January 2015. This’s was the middle of November. I left a message at noon and a callback came at 6pm but I was not home. I called the next day and left a message, no response. I called the next day and left a message, no response. I have called repeatedly and all you get is the message machine. No human EVER answers the phone. Really disappointed in a business that does not support its products or customers.
