Best Italian sub in the area and they never skimp on the meat, go Anthony’s! One sub will feed nearly four people, enjoy!

Anthony’s Deli is know for its God Father wedges. They are really great and very filling. And not a bad price for the amount of meats being put in. But another great item that is great to get are the chubby chickens. It is one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. I recommend getting both but if you’re only one person I recommend getting a chubby chicken. Anthony’s deli is a great deli with great food.

This place makes the most overstuffed sandwiches in the area. the service is great, there are about 5 countermen making sandwiches all though out the day. i love the meatball on a roll. simply delicious. my son’s, the in their twenties, get the heroes, the godfather, or the italian combo. everything is done with care and one never feels like you are being rushed. sometimes the line is 15 people long and the wait can be 30 minutes, quality takes time, go Anthony’s

Anthony’s deli is the real deal. Great local spot that just does amazing super sized sandwiches. Its got character and great service. Favorites sandwich so far is the Pastrami Reuben. I have yet to finish a whole sandwich in a sitting but working towards it.

After years of driving by I decided to stop in. It didn’t bother me that parking was nearly impossible. What did bother me though is that the Chicken Parm roll I had ordered was cut with a knife that had leftover mustard on it. Yuck.

For the $ 9.50 the godfather wedge could feed a small family but the quality of the meats were not up to my standards for a good«italian» sandwich. Lots of pepperoni, salami and other low budget«Italian«cold cuts. Spend same get a smaller sandwich with better ingredients somewhere else.

This has been the go to deli for my family for years. It has become a weekly tradition to get Anthony’s. The sandwiches are huge, delicious, and well priced. The usual order is the chefs choice, chicken parm, god father, and tuna melt.

Great sandwiches, great fresh bread, friendly crew. Small parking lot and a bit of a cliquey local vibe. My sandwich guy spent the time chatting up the girl behind me rather than asking about S, P, K on my breakfast barge for example. Iced coffee process leaves a lot to be desired.

Guys, the Godfather sandwich is the best deli sandwich I have ever had and that includes all the famous delis in Manhattan. It’s $ 9.50. My husband and I got one to split… Collectively we could barely finish half. It was delicious and full of fresh ingredients. Service was quick and the portions were generous. Stop by!(Cash only btw)

Gotta give these«Magic Mikes» a big good job! Four young dudes behind the counter hustling out great sandwiches in A carry out only deli. Sandwiches are thick with meat and super tasty. The guys are friendly And knock the orders out ASAP. BLT had so much Bacon and my pastrami was on point.

This deli is convenient, inexpensive and overall perfect if you want to grab something and go. ***Beware there is almost always a very long line because everyone in westchester is trying to get their hands on a Anthony’s sandwich. The guys are great and aim to please.

The sandwiches at Anthony’s are humongous! They just pile it high full of meat and it’s so damn good! The godfather is my fav sandwich to get but can never finish it. You get a lot of bang with your buck here and just a overall great deli for food and you have to try for yourself. The place only accepts cash but does have a atm inside. Also parking lot is small so you need to probably park in the street.

Got sandwiches here… quick and easy. Quality of sandwiches was great. Would have been better if they took cards but there is an ATM on the premises. Also, there is nowhere to eat in the deli at all even though there is ample room in the parking lot to throw up a picnic table or two. Would be awesome if some sort of outdoor seating area was there. Aside from that, the place was very good!

I have been going here for ages and I have to say it is the best deli around. There proportion are awesome and the food is always made fresh. Some of my favorites are — chubby chicken –meatball Parmesan — the breakfast barge Place is always, even if there is a line it moves quick. Always awesome.

Calling all my fellow fat, Italian SOB’s like myself… Go get a sandwich here. This place reminded my of my home; my childhood. The men behind the counter were all yelling at each other and arguing over a bunch of different topics, while making food. That REALLY made me feel like I was home. The size of these sandwiches are stupid. Seriously. Stupid. The amount of meat in one sandwich is insane. I could barely each a half, of a half of a hero. The bread was so fresh as well… Im sorry… they are called ‘wedges”. You can do without the extras like the macaroni salads and whatever… go to a jewish deli for those things. But come to Anthony’s for a meat exploding sandwich. Word of advice… park somewhere else… not in their small parking lot. its a pain in the ass to park in there and then get out.

People seem to confuse quality and quantity. My balboa came packed with average roast beef. The Arthur Avenue bread is a slice above other deli’s, but the dry meat killed the sandwich. I ordered pickup and no one acknowledged I was there. I waited a good 10 minutes before being helped. I’ll update my review if I decide to return and have a redeeming experience. Disappointing three stars.

My big gripe about New Rochelle is that there isn’t a place around to grab a solid deli sandwich(would love to be proven wrong here, please!), which led me to search the nearby town of Mamaroneck. Holy shit, I was not disappointed. There were plenty of foundation sandwich mentions on Unilocal, but how could you help but not be intrigued by one called, «The Godfather,» featuring six different types of meat? Well, friends, I can assure you that the taste surpassed the intrigue. This bohemeth was awesome. You can’t take the whole thing down in a sitting but it also keeps very well for a 2 day lunch dinner hybrid combo. Can’t wait to get back to Anthony’s and try some other sandwiches. Just wish it was down the block from me instead of two towns over. Its worth the trek though.

I absolutely love this place and always have since I moved into this town in 96. I never write reviews but this place deserves the credit. They always have fast, good service and great guys working there. Now lately there’s been this new guy that works there, don’t know his name, don’t know anything about him, other than he looks like the most miserable person. I’ve NEVER encountered anyone with his demeanor before at Anthonys. Seems to always have an attitude the last few times I’ve been there. Everyone minus that guy is great so don’t let it deter you. He’s tall, probably in his mid to late twenties, with dark hair. Probably hard to know who I’m talking about but I’m sure other people have gotten the same vibe from him. Food gets all stars possible and so does the service, but that guy, whoever he is… no stars

I swear that when the guys are making a sandwich and slicing the meat on the deli slicer, they either lose count or just don’t care how much they pile on the bread. It’s funny when someone orders a Godfather, there’s 6 kinds of meat(salami, pepperoni, ham capicola, proscuitini, mortadella & soppresetta) that I’ve counted at least 12 slices of each, plus the provolone & hot peppers. Sometimes they stop after 12 slices, look at it and pile on 3 – 4 more slices. I don’t know why they bother to put lettuce on it just to give a semblance of having a vegetable in there. That sandwich can feed a family of 4 and believe me, I have! On hungry days, I would go for a Chef’s Choice(pastrami, turkey, melted swiss cheese & russian dressing) on a wedge and I still have half the sandwich left over. The Chubby Chicken(chicken cutlet, bacon, ranch & cheese) is another heavy duty monster. For a more normal lunch, opt for a roll instead of the wedge/hero/sub/grinder. It will still be packed with meat, but you’ll stand a chance of finishing it. One Anthony’s sandwich can easily swallow up 2 Subway foot longs! Hungry for breakfast? You can order it all day, but get there in the morning for a Breakfast Barge(3 eggs, cheese, ham, bacon & sausage on a wedge), guaranteed to clog up your arteries and drop you back into bed! They have a small parking lot for 4 cars, so get here early for lunch, otherwise you can park in the street. Even then, the line inside can still go out towards the door, but the guys usually step it up and handle the crowded lunch rush.

A true destination deli for the large, meat intensive sandwich. American combo and Chubby Chicken are my favorites. The guys behind the counter are serious about making great Italian food. They are happy to take special orders. They’ve seen it all.
