Wonderful service. I love their beautiful and delicious little mini pastries! As a big fan of ice coffee, I tip my hat to them. This is the first place I have EVER been to where they make the ice cubes OUTOFCOFFEE! Absolutely GENIUS! Talk about going the extra mile! I you Boiano!

Great selection of cookies and cakes. Employees are friendly. Can’t wait to order birthday cakes and graduation cake from them.

Great Italian bakery. I go here exclusively for the selection. The employees are all nice and helpful. Even on the busy holidays none of them rush you or act annoyed that they have to work. Seems clean. Sorta blows my mind that this place is related to Cosmo deli next door considering how filthy it is there. This bakery seems clean and they have hands down the best rainbow cookies I’ve ever had.

The cannoli was so so so good, but the black and white cookie was not great. The chocolate icing was mushy and got everywhere. Would definitely try other treats from here though!

Best Italian bakery. Their ricotta cheesecake at Easter with the orange zest is the BEST.

Bakeries like Boiano’s used to be a common sight in these parts, but that was decades back before folks thought that bringing out a plastic wrapped«sweet» constituted serving a desert. Boiano’s offers casual seating in addition to a long case of baked goods and a view of the kitchen in the rear. We like to stop in for a couple of pounds of their biscotti(we came more often when the cost less!) and their specialty cookies(especially the pignoli!) are a treat. They also offer a limited number of breads and rolls and a larger range of pastries and deserts; it isn’t necessarily destination baking, but it does have that home-made quality. Service is friendly enough(even if they don’t know you) and on weekends and holidays you can expect a line. It can be difficult to find a parking spot in busy downtown Mamaroneck so bring someone along to sit in the double-parked car if you can.

I called at 1 pm and had a customized, gorgeous cake made for me by 5 pm the same day. Anna could not have been more accommodating. And the cake was delicious too!

Bakery sucks BIGTIME. We’ve gotten 5 cakes there and 4 were awful. So we gave them a good try thinking maybe we just bought the wrong flavor. The most recent was a Coconut cake. There was about 1/16″ of cake in between lemon pudding. We could not even cut pieces it was all runny. It should’ve been called lemon pudding… or lemon meringue(without the meringue). And where was the coconut? Only on the sides of the white icing(not even on the top). All this for $ 25 which no one would eat(even the birthday girl).

Ive only done the Eclairs and the Napoleans here so FWIW. They are among the best and at $ 2 each HALF the price of many other places such as Iron Tomato in WP-on the Napoleans for sure-maybe only 1⁄3 cheaper on the éclair. Oh ive done the B & W Cookies too-very good. Price plus quality = 5 star all day long!

I’m always suprised at how low my bill is after ordering a multitude of items. As far as quality of baked goods… ehhhh…Its just OK, Now please keep in mind I am mainly a cookie girl. I would walk a hundred country miles for homemade cookies but Boiano’s cookies just always seem either dry or lacking butter. The staff is varied levels of nice-ness but they are all professional and efficient. My husband is crazy for their cheesecake as are my co-workers. Its a nice neighborhood hang if you want to have an espresso and a sweet treat.

If you are going to get a cake, order vanilla and cannoli cream. It’s their best. Just had a 3 tier for my engagement party and no one could believe it was from the village! If you are staying in for pastries and coffee, ask for Monique. She knows how to pick the freshest pastries and will make your coffee how you like it.

Italian is what they do best! Biscotti worth bringing to family events… cannolli, fig bars, Pigmoli cookies, several different varieties of biscotti, and oatmeal cookies. I enjoy their chocolate cake that has marzipan inside it I don’t know the name of it. They also are one of the few places who sell espresso in small little cups like to do it Italy as well as chamomile tea. Not everything I have had there has been Delectable, once I got a doughnut. Never again. I have lost count of how many times I have made friends and influence people by bringing a box of their Kisamali biscotti, or sesame seed cookies.

Bought a birthday cake there for my niece, and whoa, were we disappointed! The cake was dry and the frosting had a waxy texture. Yes, a horrible waxy texture. The flavor was wayyyy off; almost as if the cake had been sitting there, waiting to be bought, for months. I’d never go back there! Not even for coffee; especially when Artuso’s is down the block with their perfect coffees!

Excuse me, I need to go get more little cakes now… I have no idea of the actual name of the little cakes I am addicted to at Boiano’s. They are little rectangular pieces with a triangle of mixed chocolate sticking up out of them. It’s hard to explain but they taste like a combination of the best birthday cake you have ever had, just with extra chocolate. I literally could eat an entire box of these. Right now.

Meh… I went in for some cannoli and pastries. The cannoli filling was so-so and the shells were incredibly soggy. Clearly they had been filled way too far in advance. The pastries were also ho-hum. Nothing too special. My iced cappuccino tasted like mostly milk with some ground up ice in it. Overall, not impressed. I’ll stick with Neri’s in Port Chester.

Just back from Boiano’s where I grabbed a box of pignoli cookies for an event I have tomorrow. After going through a couple of samples, I really feel like I have to up my review to 5 stars. These things are delicious! I’ve actually been back quite a few times since my first visit in July and I’ve never been disappointed with their baked goods. The staff is friendly, everything is made in house, and the prices are very fair for what you get. Gotta love this place.
