Anybody can open a cigar lounge, but unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be many great ones in Westchester County and that shocked me until I discovered this hidden gem in the heart of Mamaroneck.
All of the staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable, and the owner Josh is great guy who is always willing to make a suggestion and educate you while making you feel at home. The selection is great, the humidor is humidified just right and the prices are very reasonable. The smoking lounge is very comfortable and I always feel like I’m in somebody’s home rather than a place of business.
In conclusion, Doc James is definitely my go-​to spot for cigars in Westchester County.

Great ambiance. Owner Josh is great. Nice people. Great cigar selection at reasonable prices. Very happy. Parking is ok but not fantastic.

Best lounge in westchester been a member hear for a while staff is super friendly and owner Josh is top notch. Highly recommended!

Great Place… Best Cigars Selection… Friendly service to sit and smoke. Just became a member, great locker to keep all your favorites. Drop by for a quick smoke and you will be back again and again. Nice outside seating a plus.

Nice cigar lounge. Friendly staff, clean and convenient. My friend spoke of this place quite a few times and we ended up going. Pleasantly surprised, it’s one of those place that should belong in every town.
