This place is awesome. The spot itself is amazing. The beers are delicious and the space is cozy and great. The owner is such a nice guy, so willing to share his knowledge and passion for beer and made us feel so welcome. Would recommend to anyone and were so excited to come back!!!

Best beer in Town. You need to try their IPA’s. The couple that runs the place are super chill.

Hidden in a corner of a tiny shopping center is this gem. We had a flight of tasters– an IPA, a sour, smoked porter & pale ale. All four beers were excellent– high quality beers. Tasting room was clean & welcoming. Our server(one of the owners I believe) was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend you stop in & try this nanobrewery.

My friends all wanted to try this new, local brewery. I’m totally not a beer drinker, so I wasn’t very excited about it… but I just had the best«Smoke Doubt» porter and totally loved it! The owner was awesome and chatted with us about his brewing process and was the coolest, most genuine guy! We’re coming back here for every Mammoth trip now!

We visited Black Doubt today after returning our ski gear to a local rental company, and it was just what the doctor ordered after a long day on the mountain. This is a Nanobrewery and they have a great selection of beers. My husband got a flight of tasters and I tried a lighter beer that was delicious! The vibe is very laid back and super comfortable. Most of the patrons still had ski boots on. A great option if you are looking for something different than the bigger breweries. We will be back for sure.

Awesome new brewery in Mammoth. Avoid the big crowds cone to this nano brewery. All the beer is good, but I really like the sour– Nick Sours. All their beer is made in small batches. It feels like a local spot

Excellent beers, great music. We bought food takeout from Delicious Kitchen and brought it here. I had a flight of their(rotating) beers and enjoyed all of them. The gose in particular was excellent.

Perhaps the best nanobrew I have visited!!! They make 100 gallon batches so they are able to really fine tune their recipe to customer demand. We took a flight of five 7oz pours of Pleasin’ Weizen, Insatiable Saison, Hoptoberwest Amber, Yeti Charmer IPA, and a Dark Mountain Stout. EVERY single sample of the flight was incredible — they were all so fresh, crisp, and inviting! Such a great way to spend an evening after skiing/boarding on Mammoth!!!

We visited this small brewery about a week after opening. It’s operated by the brewer and his wife, aided at times by family friends. The day that we visited, the owner and a friend were serving. They were both very friendly. The owner was very knowledgeable and and excited to talk about projects that are in the works. The venue is pretty small, but perfect for a starting company. There’s handful of Four-Top tables. the bar takes up most of one of the long walls. Stools run the length of the bar. If i recall correctly, the bar has 8 beer taps and at the time 5 or 6 of the taps were in use. With more on the way soon. I’ve been to some breweries that have a variety of beers but they all share similar flavors. Such as every beer is a hop bomb or all the beers are very subtle. This isn’t the case with Black Doubt. Each beer was different and unique. For those that like their hops, they were pouring their Yeti Charmer. There was a spiced Saison, an imperial stout… A little bit for everyone. I found 3 that I really enjoyed. The others were ok, but just not my preferred styles. That’s why beer comes in so many varieties. They are also working on barrel program and plan to release some barrel-aged stouts, porters and sours in the future. I look forward to seeing what comes out of this brewery and will definitely be back on future visits.

Stopped in here after hearing about them from the people at June Lake Brewing. All of the beers are extremely clean and drinkable. The saison is pretty unique. Staff is friendly and everyone is having a great time. Added bonus: popcorn and pretzels.

Came for the opening day celebration, been waiting for months to check it out! They had 5 beers on tap, a little something for everyone: an IPA, Saison, Hefeweizen, Dark Stout and more! Great snacks and awesome crowd, will be back.

Decided to check out this spot, and what a suprise it was their grand opening! The brewer was super helpful and welcoming. They have a small selection, but also serve special beers, like barrel aged stouts. Really relaxed atmosphere and a good way to unwind after a long day of boarding or sking.
