A fantastic little gem of a store! I think it’s some sort of library surplus place or something, but they have many shelves stuffed full of great books at great prices. Most are in heavily used condition but there are a few new or near-​new and they are priced the same as the rest (pricing is based on binding and book size I believe) and they have an entire rack of fiction paperbacks for $ 1.50 each or 4 for $ 5. Place is tiny and only accepts cash or check, but an absolute must for any book lover living or staying in the Mammoth Lakes area, or who came on vacation and needs to add to their reading material like me. 2 thumbs way up! Actually, no, 2 thumbs grasping the covers of a nice new book would be more like it.
