I purchased 2 tee shirts at the Mammoth Lakes store. I wore one the next day and it stretched out terribly. I washed it and it looked like I had owned it for 10 years. I took both shirts back to the store and they would only take back the one I hadn’t worn. Since this was a $ 20 shirt I expected a better quality. Very disappointed with this poor customer service. Since there are limited places to shop in Mammoth Lakes, they should pay more attention to keeping customers happy.

Bought two comfy pairs of shoes at a reasonable price. Staff was very helpful. I am very pleased with my purchases.

Good sale prices Good selection Hit and miss with staff. The first day we went the staff was wonderful. The next day we went(I needed to return something) all but one staff member seemed to have better things to do than pay attention to us(and the other people waiting to pay for things).

Every time we are up in Mammoth, we stop by and stock up on shoes. I purchased some jeans that I wanted to return the next day. Nothing wrong with them. I had tried on a smaller size, decided I wanted the same jeans one size larger, grabbed the larger size from the same pile where I found the smaller ones, and did not try on the larger ones. Turns out the larger ones were a different style. So I got in line to return the jeans. When it was my turn, I was told I had to wait for one checker(the manager) who is the person who does returns. She was helping someone she seemed to know personally to return some items, while they shared a plate of french fries. So I stood there, waiting, and waiting, and waiting, while the other two checkers, who do not do the returns, processed customer after customer after customer. Then, it turned out that the manager’s friend had paid with cash, and she was running the return as if it was paid with credit card(had she looked at her friend’s receipt from the beginning, she would have seen this). What does that mean? She would have to rerun the transactions. She told her friend, as they were still eating french fries, to give her a minute while she helped other customers. Mind you, I’m standing about 3 feet in front of her, still waiting. There’s no one else in front of me. She then starts punching the keys on her register, not even acknowledging me. After about 20 minutes of this, I finally asked if there was someone else who could do my return. She said«I can do it». She starts the return. I had receipt and jeans(with the original tags still attached). Turns out they need the original credit card to do the return. Well, my husband used his. So I have to come back with him to do the return. I let her know I’ve never experienced such lousy customer service in all the years I’ve been coming here. Her response«sorry». Yes, Bass has great sales(although they’re overpriced to begin with), and I like the quality of the product. The customer service has always been good — from the clerks. This manager needs to go — I fully appreciate this is a small town, where things are slower paced and less formal. But this was completely rude. I will return, I will get this manager’s name, and I will let corporate know. This behavior is NEVER ok.

Amazing sales at this location during memorial day. Like $ 20 pants, $ 8 button downs… it was the best deal I’ve ever gotten.

Amazing prices when they are having sales. I bought 2 pairs of shoes for $ 80, where identically similar shoes elsewhere cost me more than double. Never expected to find good prices in a resort town

Sales and boots with the furrrrr! Got a great deal on the most adorable and waterproof boots here. They had an after Christmas sale going on so the original price was $ 150 and i got the boots for $ 60. Considering the quality of materials and the fact that I now have a nice high pair of brown leather boots with heavy tread for the snow that can also be work to work, they were a steal. I also got a pull over hooded fleece sweatshirt for $ 14 that I wore for all three days boarding and is now a staple of my snow clothes. Boyfriend got a great waterproof pair of boots($ 40, don’t know original price) as well as a man cardigan that everyone loved($ 24, originally $ 90).

«outlet» seems a bit gratuitous. At any rate, the employees are nice and upbeat. They had a killer«after Christmas» sale this week. I was able to grab some really warm house slippers for the missus at a super cheap price. I also was able to grab a few work shirts too. Don’t half step. Come here for 100% wool socks and a button up shirt if you need one in a pinch.

When I was 5, I slid down an asphalt hill at Kindergarten until my jeans split open… I didn’t care. Age 12, I wore shoes until the soles wore out… No thang. By age 30, my boxers have holes in embarrassing spots and my jeans hang off my arse in an absurdly pre-adolescent manner… I think this finally qualifies as sad. I’ve never been a clothing guy — and while Bass Outlet in Mammoth’s Luxury Outet mall specializes in Shoes and Clothing, I rarely enter this store without making some sort of stylish addition to my overwhelmingly monotonous wardrobe. This time? A belt… A reversible, polished aluminum buckle belt. 50% off the first belt you buy… 75% off the second. This 50⁄75 deal applied to most items in the store, and some of the shoes were 80% off!!! For those of you who are like me, and SUCK at math… That means, buy one at 25% off and get the second for FREE!!! Check this place out if you’re in Mammoth! It’s been here for years and years, for a good reason. Jammin’ discounts on quality men & women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories. Oh, there I go again, sounding like someone who has the first idea about such things. Well, while I may not know much about style, I know a thing or two about value: Mammoth’s Bass Outlet is a steal… great quality at absurdly discounted prices. Almost worth the gas alone(from LA), for me.

Outlet Store? Hmmm, The«stuff» at this store is cheap, contract manufactured goods made in China. It’s what I call a 40 foot container store. No more or no less than buying discount shoes form Big 5. I bought a jacket there, $ 139.00 but heavily discounted to $ 48.00 — but I should have known, you get what you pay for. They probably get this from the Chinese manufacturer for a unit cost of say $ 10.00, they mark it up to $ 139 then mark it down to $ 48. 00 make you feel good about your purchase — UNTILTHEZIPPER separates! Yes, cheap zipper that pulled apart from the bottom. I took my first purchase back and it was gladly replaced with another identical jacket. Then 1 hour later the zipper parted on the replacement!!! This store is just a touristy front for false value. Don’t waste your money!
