My oldest daughter went to RSGA for gymnastics, my middle son goes there for competitive trampoline and power tumbling. My youngest just started. Victor the owner is a world champion gymnast from Russia and my son’s trampoline coach was a Russian Olympian… the list of talent goes on and on. At RSGA I have watched my little overly energetic son bouncing on a trampoline at recreational lessons to a happy, focused, adolescent who placed 2nd in the nation at level 8. Both of my son’s literally complain when they have to miss class. The real magic is the gym’s mixture of tough competitive drive, talented instructors, mixed with a commitment to pass on their love of gymnastics. These guys really know what they are doing, focus on safety and personal development. Whether your kids are there for recreational classes or are focused on competing the RSGA staff will help them develop physically and mentally. I enrolled my child in the mommy and me class. The class says 18 – 36 months. My child is 21 months and is unable to do anything in the class! It is very advanced and should begin at age 3 at MINIMUM — NOT18 months. I feel this was a waste of money and am very upset about it. The overall experience was not fun which is what it should be about at that young age.

The«solution» that was offered was for an open gym which according to their website is for children five and older. My son just turned two. This certainly isn’t a solution by any stretch of the imagination.

The little girl I watch attends gymnastics class here. She loves it and since I don’t take classes, I can’t really speak of the instructors. What I can talk about is the condition of the interior. I understand it’s a gym, but it’s not very appealing on the eyes. If you can believe this, the bathrooms are nicer and look cleaner than the waiting rooms in this place. I literally don’t want to touch anything when I’m waiting to pick up the kids. I also feel like I need a painters mask because of all the germs I feel are floating around in the air. On an open gym day, the little girl I watch told me that she was in the foam pit and someone had thrown up in there and it hadn’t been addressed or cleaned up! So disgusting! The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, just need to address the cleanliness. Maybe a coat of fresh paint?

My 4 yo lil girl started with RSGA in September for their preschool rec class, by Feb she was accepted in their Talent Program which she gained more techniques as a gymnast. After only a year being in this school I must say I’m very impressed with the teachers especially Ms Holly. She’s very caring with each student and takes times to help them with every routine. This school goes above and beyond for their students and would highly recommend everyone who is looking for a place to come here. The facility is large and very clean… There are 2 sitting area’s for parents to sit and watch their kids which is great…
