Battleground Country Club Grounds Dept

…managerial experience. The GM :((less than 1 star)
The food was great… so I was told by all our guests at our wedding. We wish we would have tasted it but you know how static it can get at your own wedding.
I gave this place a 2 stars because we were put in a stressful situation which they had no empathy.
The club booked another wedding event prior to ours and Bridezilla had to come out. Thinking about the logistics with regards to the overlap and time gap for when our vendors could set up for the party, made the planning that much more stressful.
Also the GM of the Country Club is very RUDE…
When my wife and I met with the GM and the event coordinator to discuss the overlapping of the two evens, we had a heated discussion.
They tried to convince us that it was not a wedding but a brunch, and claim that we are only upset because we know the bride hosting the brunch-​in. Suggesting that we have personal issues with her from previous times, which is all false and an assumption (THAT we explained).
I have to mentions that during this conversation, I brought up the fact that we are an Egyptian family and the previous party was also Egyptian, blah blah… the GM’s analogy that he does not care about race was by saying … he would not care if i married a dog or a cat. That is what I mean by RUDE and Inconsiderate.
Other than that we had a good time and so did our guests.
As far as I know the service staff was excellent, the Maitre’D was great and supported us during the entire time.

Paid for an expensive prom — got cold chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner. The grounds are pretty to look at, but the food is not even up to fast-​food quality. They take advantage of high school students, so be cautious about booking here.

Came here for a wedding and had a great time! The nuptials were outside under the gazebo and the grounds are just beautiful. The cocktail hour and reception was on the premisses a few steps away which I liked, as opposed to getting in the car again and driving. The cocktail hour was nice with tons of different stations for selection. The actual ball room was stunning. The dance floor was big, it was perfect! All of the staff from the valet to the waiters down to the bartenders were nice as well. I would definitely recommend this place for an event!

My cousin’s wedding was held here, and it was beautiful. It was held outside, under a gazebo, and the grounds were kept nicely making the spot even more picturesque. And because I was a bridesmaid (a junior bridesmaid to be exact), I got to see the ballroom while it was being set up, and all the employees there were working hard. The bathrooms are nice, food was pretty good (even though I sent my steak back. It was still mooooooing), and the room was pretty. The Grand Ballroom’s veiw is spectacular, over looking the wonderful golf course. very nice place to have a wedding or any othere speacial occasion.
