When I came in the receptionist was really nice and friendly. But then it took a turn when I got my hair washed. This one girl I think her names Angela was very unprofessional, she yelled at her coworkers In Front of me and I watched her not let anyone else take clients. That is extremely unacceptable and unprofessional. Your salon is worse with her in it, I’m shocked she hasn’t been fired yet. Very unprofessional

At twenty years old, I’ve probably had my hair cut by 10 different stylists. My hair is very difficult to deal with: curly, frizzy, and THICK. But for the last five years, I’ve been happily following Lawrence around the area. He used to own Lawrence Gerard on Rt. 9 in Manalapan, but sold the salon about seven years or so ago. Now, he’s opened up this salon and I’m happy he’s back locally again! There isn’t a better colorist than Lawrence and no one else I would trust with my hair. I was a long holdout on getting my hair highlighted as it changed from a nice bright blonde in elementary school to a caramel color in middle school and then borderline brown in high school(I was a non-conformist, you see… *eye roll). But once I decided to take the plunge, I knew there was only one man for the job. Lawrence has colored my mom’s hair for the better part of two decades, as well as my dad’s hair, and we’ve never had a bad experience. He knows how to adjust my color perfectly by season and I will never go anywhere else. I’m actually considering getting a Keratin treatment there, as well. The salon also offers a variety of spa services and employs a makeup artist. I can only attest to the hair styling, which has been phenomenal.

Oh my goodness! Never again! After passing 5 cornfields(that should have been a warning) on RT33 I pulled up to the salon. The outside to no surprise given the area was GAUDY! The Inside was actually ok. When I walked in it was pretty new, clean, and modern. This gave me some hope! Shampoo Girl– she was throwing my head around like a sack of potatoes w/o a care. At one point, I so wanted to wake her up from her coma of going thru the motions but decided to hold back. I thought lets not start off on a bad foot maybe she was having a bad day. Lawrence(my stylists) — Not good. He chopped my hair off shorter than I wanted. he didnt even ask if I liked it or not.
