Crazy fresh food Everything you can imagine from pizza to all that healthy freak food Way too much stuff in one place You will need two carts But don’t get me wrong It’s really a great place to shop A wine cellar as big as a NY supermarket

I love this Wegmans. They have the best most fresh produce, breads and cheeses. They have a great variety of organic selection. Not only is the quality great, the prices are good and they have exceptional customer service at Manalapan Wegmans.

I have not been here in quite some time and decided to shop there. Prior to shopping here I was at another Wegmans which I thought was better. The store is very clean and well laid out and the help seemed pretty good however, I was disappointed in some of the food I bought. The chop meat was tough when I broiled it. The mac and cheese was really nothing special and in fact bland. I am not sure of the other prepared foods yet. I happen to love Whole Foods and perhaps I am spoiled by there wonderful quality and healthy foods and found Wegman’s a weak second. I do not work for Whole Foods!

There is a reason why this supermarket is always packed with people and every other supermarket in the area, including Whole Food is not… Wegmans is an awesome place for all grocery shopping. Their own produced items, like the ready made food and baked goods, are expensive but also very high quality. All other items are priced competitively. We love shopping here, we love their food. The oriental buffet is better than the deliveries in the area. There are plenty of healthy choices and exotic international items, as well as your every day milk and bread… unless it’s the day before a winter storm…

Great store with a lot of products. Fruits and vegetables are fresh. Nice deli section. Good ready to eat section. Also great that it sells produce from farms. Have to mention bakery: cakes are very tasty especially the one with fresh fruits. They used to bake pistachio– chocolate mousse cake and would be great if the store bakery will bring back. Too bad they no longer have area to watch kids and they no longer do Halloween costume event; a lot of local families enjoyed very much.

Wegmans is a cool place. I can get my groceries or stop in for lunch. I love the seating upstairs it really is nice to get away from the madness downstairs and enjoy a meal. I see people complaining that it is too crowded but that just means the staff does a great job. I don’t think it’s fair to complain about how everyone else loves an establishment as much as you do. This is New Jersey. You should be used to overcrowding ;)

The cleanest, best & accommodating staff throughout the store, most organized, Wegmans in NJ, & I think I’ve been in all of them. Just wish they carried Milk in glass bottles, and fresh pot cheese.

A little one note, but perhaps it speaks to a broader benefit… Was intending to cook an English pie and went to around 5 supermarket chains looking for ground savory, which I used to find regularly at my local Shop-Rite. None had it; including Whole Foods(Though it did have $ 11 pints of vegan ice cream…). The WF employees stocking the spice section didn’t even know what it is. Found it at Wegman’s, and reasonably priced. Someone way younger and with far more street cred than I ever had might say«schooled.» ‘course that guy’s probably not cooking an English pie…

Wegman’s used to be my absolute favorite supermarket to shop at but lately this place is a zoo. You can shop during off peak hours and it’s great but the deli isn’t open and there just isn’t much to pick from in the produce area. In general, lately the produce has really gone downhill. There is less available and a lot of the time the quality isn’t there anymore. If you can get past the crowds, which honestly make me not want to go in, you encounter the employees. The employees were where Wegman’s really stood out, in a good way. Lately I have encountered nothing but rude employees, probably because of the crowds of obnoxious people. Today was probably my tipping point. Wegman’s does not have any bag-your-own lines. I kindly asked the cashier to give me as few bags as possible, I was perfectly fine with heavy, stuffed bags. He said sure then proceeded to put two/three items in a bag max. When I asked him to please put more in he got annoyed and started making comments about air pockets in the bags… what??? Overall this is still one of the better supermarkets in the area but when I start choosing the Shoprite on 9 north over Wegman’s I know there is an issue. I’d say they are pretty comparable lately. I guess with Stop N Shop and now A&P closing in the area Wegman’s knows they don’t have much competition.

We do our food shopping here every week. And every week this stir is getting worse. It’s Monday at 10am and the produce isn’t packed out yet. Every week it’s the same thing. I come here mainly for the organic, and that’s getting worse. Forget about asking for help, the most common answer is «it’s been discontinued«. Such lazy people. So frustrating!!!

This store is an absolute delight to shop in. The aisles are wide and clean, everything is so nicely kept and the restrooms are nice. Wegmans is a superior supermarket chain, simply put. Shopping here makes me wish we had one in the five boroughs. I only purchased a box of brownie mix for a Valentine’s Day gift, but if I had more time, I would have loved to take my time to explore this location.

This place use to be my go to place for groceries. That being said, I’m noticing their stock is getting less. Loved their prepackaged thin sliced honey turkey. It’s gone. Ok… Loved the Bamboo Leaf rice rolls. It’s gone. Ok… Wegman’s Prune juice? Gone. Ok now that’s just wrong! What’s going on? Now I’m doing more shopping at Trader Joes and Whole Foods down in Princeton. Went to that Wegman’s and oddly enough, the exact same things are missing. Should I get Mulder & Sculley from the X Files on this case? Wegman’s, shape up!

I love this place so much, I only wish it was closer! I don’t know if it’s the vibrancy of the store, the hustle and bustle of customers and workers, or the smells or sights of food, but I know if I was left in here long enough, I would have a huge credit card bill. Haven’t had a bad experience here yet! It’s definitely a place to get groceries, but it’s designed for you to come in and eat, linger and relax. A spacious seating area upstairs, with a drinks dispenser, and a clean bathroom. I know that whenever I came, my family and I never bought any actual groceries, other than some muffins to take home. Mostly, we got their hot food and chowed down. So my review is mostly on the atmosphere and food, rather than what groceries/produce they offer(sorry in advance). Muffins — yeah, muffins was a huge selling point for me and my dad. We would come here just to get the double chocolate ones. For some reason, it was better than anywhere else we had tasted. Then they stopped making them, or they didn’t have them a few times consecutively and we decided not to come back. Pizza– pies were big and hearty. Very affordable for a whole pie and individual slices were big. Definitely satisfying if you just had one. The veggie pizza was good, It actually HAD veggies in every bite. You don’t know how annoying it is to get Domino’s or Papa John’s, and your veggie pizza has one alive, one shriveled up tomato slice, and a thumbnail of a green pepper. Sufficient sauce and cheese, not overbearing. Mmm… craving a slice now! There was always so much more I wanted to try, because they have a lot of self-serve buffet style hot foods and you can weigh your container. But that might add up fast. Also lots of hearty proteins(chicken), with side dishes like potato salad — –you need to order from people behind glass, deli style. There is Asian style food too. There is definitely something for everyone here. My favorite part is the bakery: There are a ton of packaged cake options, donuts, pastries. Looks delicious. I want to try/buy it all. Maybe on my next trip back. Has a big parking lot, but I guess I’ve always gone during mid-afternoon hours. Never had trouble finding a space, and it’s not as if I was waiting a long time or trailing someone to take their space. Not sure why people are mentioning that, but maybe at peak hours it can get intense. It’s such a big store, I can see it being crowded.

Way too big and no one even acknowledges you like Whole Foods does! Oh did I mention being a flashlight? It is so dark in there! Like why!?! Everything is unorganized and over priced compared to the Whole Foods near me. Are you ready for this…$ 34.99 per lb. For salmon… are you joking me… Whole Foods was only like $ 12.99 per lb. So I basically strolled around the store and did not buy a single item there, left and went to WF. I do not like it here… sorry
