Scott knows his doo doo (puppy talk). First session produced results in 30 minutes. He has a repertoire of dog do’s and do nots. He was able to show me the puppy perspective and how the owners inconsistency in commanding the dog produces bad results. With Scott’s advice and tutelage, you will have an award winning pup and confidence in yourself to train properly with positive cues and markers — not hitting and scolding. Full kudos to Scott and his methods.

Scott is an awesome and trustworthy dog trainer, walker, and dog sitter. Scott watched our golden retriever for the weekend– she is definitely full of energy,
But Scott made sure she had lots of chances to run around and play. He even rode his skate board while she pulled him around the neighborhood, she loved this. I’d recommend Scott to anyone who needs a sitter, walker or trainer. Thanks Scott!

Scott has done it all for us. We rescued Charley shortly before Christmas and in her short time with us, Scott has helped train her, doggy sat her, did a dog safety training session with our two young children, oh and he takes her on long daily walk/​runs which he often incorporates socialization with other dogs (something she really needs.) With my wife and I both working we really needed a dog walker. We got so much more. Scott isn’t a dog walker. He is a business owner who obviously loves dogs and takes their every need into consideration. He goes above and beyond with care and responsibility not only for the animals he tends to but for the clients he serves as well. I couldn’t recommend Scott and Barks & Recreation enough!
