Ackerman and Associates Dental Practice

Nobody likes the dentist but I actually had fun at my appointments. Initially I was a little upset by the fact that the front desk clerk was too consumed with whatever she was doing to acknowledge me. Ultimately I had to point out my arrival to her even after signing in and sitting for 5 minutes. It was my appointment time and I had not received any new patient paperwork to complete so i asked her if there was paperwork and she seemed shocked and said…“oh yeah”. Appointment started for semiannual cleaning and the tech was great. Friendly and informative about things I could improve. Seemed to be very knowledgable. Basic cleaning covered by insurance so no problem on cost. However, I understand there are lots of great new technology in dentistry but rarely is that covered by insurance. Basically the up-​selling is a bit of a turn off. Arrival was subpar but I did have a great experience with Dr. Lowe and the other staff.
