Just had dinner at BBQ Delight and will have to say that I am liking it. I have been in the area for almost 17 years, but could not find Bihari Kabob anywhere. This is the only place I found and have to say, I loved it. It was marinated perfectly, and it basically melted in mouth. Reminded me of Bihari kabob I used to have in Karachi, made me a little bit nostalgic. The spices were a bit on easy side, but I am assuming that it was to cater the locals. On my next trip, I will ask for a bit spicy on that, lets see if that will make it even better. Prices were good, food was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxed and clean. Give it a shot, you will like it.

I have been driving all day and wanted to have something spicy and meat, BBQ Delight was the perfect choice. I took server Gul Khan’s recommendation, Chapli kabab and Seekh Kaba. It came quick and was as I wanted them.

We have been going to this place for a while now and we like their food. The service is not so good and store does not have appealing look. Their buffet items are limited and they don’t offer verity. Food taste good tho, i love their haleem. However, in the last couple of visits we saw so much oil and grease on top of their food. I don’t think this is right, adding so much oil to food?(could easily see 1 – 2 inches of oil on top of every single item in the buffet) come on so disgusting. we certainly not going to visit this place if we continue seeing the quality of the food go down. Paying $ 14 for that little buffet with 1 inch of oil on top is a lot of money. Please fix this issue and add some items in your menu.

I use to enjoy this place, even with the atrocious wait time for«to go» orders. The quality of food has declined seriously over the last year or so. My most recent visit involved me placing a carry out order via phone and being told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 18 minutes later and it still wasn’t ready. After an addition 15 minute wait, the lady at the counter told me to go ahead a pay because she had to go to the bathroom. After she disappeared, I wasted an additional 8 minutes waiting for my order to finally be ready. 41 minutes for an order of Chicken Tikka Masala? No thank you. When I got home and opened up the container, I was disgusted by the amount of pure oil that was sitting at the top of the dish.(See pictures) $ 15.00 for an order of Tikka Masala and a piece of Naan Bread… no thanks. There is much better quality at other places. This disappoints me, because I really like to put my money back into the community and support local eateries… but I think I’m done with this one.

Never ever going to this place!!! We called before coming and asked for the menu options and we’re told they have a great buffet going on for Ramadan. We said alright and we went to the location in Manasas which is 30 minutes away from our place. We walk in there were 4 tables empty and the lady said to us without greeting or anything who are you with??? We said no one we are a party of 3. She said oh sorry no space today all booked you should have had a reservation. I asked her what she meant by that we called and she didn’t mention anything about a reservation. It was 4 minutes before iftar and we hadn’t eaten or anything so I expected her to atleast offer us a glass of water or dates. Nothing!!! She said oh sorry I was busy it slipped my mind to tell you to reserve. What the hell is that supposed to mean??? We left as it was iftar time and the lady didn’t have the decency to offer us a glass of water and just let us walk out of there because she was too busy to tell us to make a reservation. I’ve had a not do good experience here before but decided to give it a try again based on someone telling me. But never never again. Don’t waste your time guys

This restaurant is very good but unbelievably overpriced For what they serve. Half the staff do not even understand what your asking them. I really don’t recommend going there.

VERY impressed with the entire experience! I was a bit skeptical at first by the location of the restaurant and it was a bit difficult to find, but it was worth it! Our service was timely, warm, and gracious. The food was some of the best that I have had in as long time, too. I was also impressed by the custom heat level offered. Every item we ordered was delicious, including the rice and the mango lasse. We will definitely be back for seconds and thirds and I’m particularly excited to try their weekend buffet.

I have never been so excited to eat!!! As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted by the manager, Amir. I looked at the menu and I was overwhelmed by all the delicious and exotic foods. There were several other customers and I could see and smell all the delicious goodness they ordered! Amir could tell I wasn’t sure what I wanted. So he explained the whole menu to me front and back by then my other coworkers arrived. We ordered several appetizers. The mango lassies are to die for!!! Very refreshing and sweet! Next, we ordered meat and vegetable samosas the sauces that came out only enticed my appetite by the spicy and aromatic flavors. For my entrée I ordered the chicken tikka masala, a very popular dish at BBQ delight! My coworkers ordered chicken kabobs and I had a taste and that was AMAZING as well. I also ordered the pork chops to take home and they came out SIZZLING!!! Best thing you could ever do is have a taste of that! The side dishes were also delicious, the rice was cooked well, naan was delectable and chickpeas yummy yummy! To finish the meal we all had green tea and that was delicious. The ambiance and prices for home cooked Pakistani and Indian is just right here at BBQ delight. Also, everyone here is very helpful and superb service. This is my new go to spot for quick, delicious food. Please don’t hesitate to go there!

Killer good food and beware the generous portions. Ambience sux! Overhead fluorescent lighting is the pits. Get take away, but get some for sure! Ginger Chicken was outstanding, and the leftovers were even tastier!

After reading several of the reviews I wanted to pop by and check this place out. My buddy and I got there about 2pm on May 2, 2013. When I opened the door I saw the restaurant empty except for two women sitting at a table to the right in the rear. They stood right up when he and I walked in and greeted us. One of the gals showed us to our table and handed us menus, then took our drink order. Immediately I began to question if we should walk out… just didn’t feel comfy in there, maybe it was the lack of atmosphere or positive vibe. There was no music playing and the two ladies returned to the same table and sat back down. Like someone else had stated in a earlier Unilocal!review… that’s also kind of a turn off to see employees hanging out in the dining room. So, to make a long story even longer, my buddy and I ordered. I went with the Butter Chicken and he ordered the Chicken Gyro. Our drinks were served with our meal not before unlike most every other restaurant on the planet Earth but, I digress. The food came out after a normal period of time and was very good. The long grain rice was seasoned just right and the Butter Chicken was quite tasty. My friend ate all his Chicken Gyro so he must’ve liked it as well. We sat there eating and the two other ladies were looking over papers at the table, one was eating out of a bowl. They were very nice don’t get me wrong, they were polite and courteous… just thought it was a bit unusual. Our bill came up to $ 29.41 and I left a $ 4 tip. The food was good but the restaurant lacked ambiance. I would not bring a date here because I would not want her to be disappointed. 3 stars seems appropriate.

Home cooked Punjabi food. The food is cooked to order. Servers(sometimes) ask how«spicy» you want it. Reply home style and get authentic heat. I ate here several times and keep forgetting to tell them easy on the salt. The dishes are at the max sodium level for me. They offer some different dishes. Sheep’s brain — which I will not try, and some braised shank served on the weekends. Mutton Biryani was the best I ever had — but watch out for the prune pits! It was full of cardamom and other fragrant spices. Piping hot. Nan — excellent, roti, lassi. the whole gambit. They have a very good midday buffet on Saturdays. Obviously not as good as the freshly cooked a la cart dishes, but good none the less. Service is spotty, but always friendly. You may need to ask for missing drinks or dishes. Décor is almost non existent. I can imagine in Karachi, Pakistan having the whole family and friends hanging out. Can’t tell whom is a guest and who is the host. Same here. There are something like 6 tables of eight and 2 tables of four. Lots of takeout going on. Not a place for romance, but great adventure for the novices and very pleasing to the pallet.

I never got to eat there so I’m only rating the service. We tried to go last year for Ifthar and was told at the door they were too full but a pakistani couple behind us went in. I called today and was told they were full again and only with a part of at least 5. I won’t try again to go, either they only take large parties or my white american muslim face and voice does not appeal to them.

Their Nihari is better than Ravi Kabob. Everything on the menu is very flavorful. I would recommend the bheja masala also. I need to get a group going to try their raan(leg roaste). If you are in the Manassas area then I would recommend to go here instead of the nearby Tandoori village.

I dont know why people rave about BBQ Delight, when there are many better options available in the DC region. It is a Pakistani cuisine restaurant, though I think caters more to a Karachi palette, as I’ve found only my Karachi-ite friends rave about this place. Decent food, but isnt much to motivate me to drive all the way out to Manassas. Verdict: Decent dinner buffet(I had it in Ramzan). Service was also ok. My top choice still remains Chutny(Springfield) for dinner buffet, Shineys for Chaat, and Ravi for grilled stuff.

Very very authentic pakistani cuisine. They aren’t your typical kabob only restaurant. They make real traditional dishes. Love their keema dishes and chicken korma dish. Great small intimate setting, good for families.

I visited the place late night around 9:00PM. We were the only«non-staff» people in the restaurant at the time. There were other people in the restaurant but it seemed like they were all related(family run maybe?) To me it just made it look less professional as they were going in and out and then eating on the next table. I always have an issue with the restaurant staff being in the dining room, eating and being loud. It takes away from the image that the restaurants try so hard to build. We ordered Chicken Karhai, Naan and couple of other items. The food was really good and the quality was excellent. I felt it was a bit over priced considering the ambiance was not all that great and the staff just kept staring at me and my friend who was with me. Its also hidden behind a creepy storage warehouse and interior is pretty small. I will probably go back for food but it will be a carry out and not for dine-in. I give it 4 stars for food and 3 for overall service and ambiance.

Excellent, authentic Pakistani food — not an easy find in Manassas Park! I have never been disapointed with anything I have ordered. I highly recommend the boneless Chicken Tikka — they do a superb job! They will also modify the level of spiciness for you — a great thing for those who love the taste of Indian/Pakistani but don’t want too much heat. Friendly staff and a cozy dining area are a plus too.
